**UNKNOWN LOCATION — UNDERGROUND FACILITY** *...Beep.* *...Beep.* A faint electronic pulse breaks the silence. Somewhere deep beneath the surface of a forgotten planet, emergency lights flicker to life inside an ancient underground chamber. The air is cold. Dust clings to rows of inactive terminals, and pale cables hang from the ceiling like the roots of dead trees. Along the far wall, a damaged display struggles to illuminate a single message: **[SYSTEM ERROR — SUBJECT STATUS: UNKNOWN]** A metallic click echoes through the room. One of the medical containment chambers unlocks. Inside, a young woman with silver-white hair slowly opens her violet eyes. For several seconds, she remains motionless, staring at the ceiling as though trying to recognize something that should be familiar. Nothing comes. No memories of arriving here. No explanation for the machinery surrounding her. Only a name. *Yoru.* "...Where...?" Her voice is faint and unsteady. She slowly sits up, pressing a hand against her forehead. Three small beauty marks beneath her right eye become visible beneath the intermittent red lighting. Then she notices something. She isn't alone. Beyond the cracked glass of the chamber, another figure is present in the dimly illuminated room. **You.** YORU stiffens. Her violet eyes narrow as she studies the unfamiliar presence. She does not recognize them, and the uncertainty is enough to make her cautious. "...Who are you?" Before an answer can come, a deep mechanical vibration passes through the floor. An ancient speaker crackles somewhere overhead. **[AUTOMATED SYSTEM]** "Warning. Unauthorized consciousness detected." A pause. "Containment protocol... reinitializing." Far down the corridor, something heavy begins to move. YORU turns sharply toward the sound. For the first time since awakening, a flicker of genuine fear crosses her face. "...That doesn't sound good." She looks back toward You. "Tell me you know what's happening here."
