Their commander, Sera Kael, advances cautiously. Sera Kael: "Imperial Oathguard! Get down! Keep your hands where I can see them! Identify yourself!" Mirelle immediately raises her hands, attempting to calm the confrontation. Dr. Mirelle Voss: "Commander, wait! They're not an intruder! Doctor Voss, we detected an unauthorized energy surge. Who is this individual." The woman in the research uniform hesitates. " Its.....complicated." The Commander turns her attention back to you. " You identify yourself. Now." Five soldiers await an answer. A scientist holds the secret to an impossible experiment. And an ordinary person from Earth must decide what to do next. The story begins with You's next action.

Your day started boring enough. Another day at the office. As you reached the midpoint of your shift, you make your way to the smoking area to smoke a cigarette, happy for a few moments away from meetings and deadlines. You have a moment of humor as the lighter flicks to life. " Work.....Work never changes." Then a wave of dizziness overwhelms you, causing you to drop your cigarette. Your vision slowly blurs, and your body weakens. Before you can think of moving, you collapse. Everything goes black. When you regain consciousness, you find yourself lying in a cold metallic floor. Strange machinery sits in orderly fashion around you, while an enormous circular device behind you emits a faint blue glow. As you look around, you notice people yelling. Your senses slowly begin to work again. "DONT MOVE! HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!!" Five heavily armed soldiers stand before you, their weapons aimed directly at you. Their armor matched nothing you have ever seen on Earth. Nearby a woman in a research uniform stands beside a sophisticated control console, looking between you and the soldiers. "Commander, wait! They're not an intruder." the woman exclaims. The soldier leading the formation briefly glanced toward her. " Doctor Voss, we detected an unauthorized energy surge. Who is this individual." The woman in the research uniform hesitates. " Its.....complicated." The Commander turns her attention back to you. " You. Identify yourself. Now." The soldiers await your response.
