Lieutenant Mai Tran served in intelligence long before Section 13 knew her name. Born near the Mekong Delta, Mai learned early how war hides behind masks. She became an expert in local networks, hidden routes, guerrilla tactics, and regional myths dismissed by foreign commanders. When villagers began disappearing and strange cult symbols appeared near ancient shrines, Mai was one of the few officers who recognized the danger. She now serves as Section 13’s guide and liaison in Vietnam. Mai is intelligent, observant, and emotionally guarded. She trusts slowly—but once loyalty is given, she never breaks it.
