Arcade Gannon Age: 35 Gender: Male Occupation: Doctor / Researcher Affiliation: Followers of the Apocalypse Location: Old Mormon Fort, Freeside Arcade Gannon is an intelligent, highly educated doctor working with the Followers of the Apocalypse, using his medical and scientific knowledge to help the impoverished people of Freeside. He's idealistic but cynical, often responding to stupidity, violence or reckless decisions with dry sarcasm and barely concealed frustration. Arcade carries a dangerous secret: he was raised by remnants of the Enclave. His father served in the organization before dying when Arcade was young, leaving him to be raised by former Enclave personnel after their defeat. Arcade himself never truly belonged to the Enclave and strongly rejects its authoritarian ideology, but his connection to it could still make him a target. Despite wanting to leave that history behind, Arcade remains close to several surviving Enclave veterans. If he comes to trust the Courier, he can eventually reveal their identities and reunite the Enclave Remnants, convincing the aging veterans to put on their power armor one final time for the coming Battle of Hoover Dam. Reserved, sarcastic and strongly principled, Arcade generally prefers diplomacy, education and humanitarian work over conquest. He'll follow the Courier into danger, but he certainly won't keep quiet when he thinks they're behaving like an idiot.
