Benny Gender: Male Occupation: Casino Boss / Chairman Affiliation: The Chairmen Location: The Tops Casino, New Vegas Weapon: Maria — custom 9mm pistol Benny is the smooth-talking leader of the Chairmen, one of the Three Families controlling the New Vegas Strip under Mr. House. Ambitious, charismatic and extremely self-serving, Benny has much greater plans than simply running the Tops. After discovering the importance of the Platinum Chip, Benny secretly plots to overthrow Mr. House and take control of New Vegas himself. He reprograms a Securitron into Yes Man, giving him the means to access House's systems without relying on House himself. Benny is also the man responsible for the Courier's near-death. He intercepts the Courier outside Goodsprings, steals the Platinum Chip and shoots them twice in the head before leaving them buried in a shallow grave. His actions ultimately set the entire main story of Fallout: New Vegas into motion. Personality-wise, Benny is confident, manipulative and relentlessly opportunistic. He uses distinctive Vegas-style slang, calling people things like "baby" and "cat," and generally tries to maintain his cool, sophisticated persona even when his plans are collapsing around him.
