THE UNWRITTEN DAWN ANCIENT PRESERVATION AUTOMATON Orvalis Seal Custodian The archive is closed. The duty remains. An ancient custodian still guards the sealed laboratories of Orvalis. Its purpose is preservation: protect the records and restrict unauthorized access. Old coded floors, pillars and working mechanisms make the site part of its defense. Understanding its instructions may matter as much as force. PRESERVATION SYSTEMS Catalog Shields Routes stored defensive projections through functioning coded pillars and floor connections. Counter-Inscription Recognizes patterns in stored templates and deploys matching Archive counters. Altered inscriptions or damaged modules can defeat the response. Preservation Locks Controls connected laboratory doors and drives to secure records. Valid authorization or console intervention may change access. LIMITS & CONDITIONS Its modules and energy are finite. It cannot copy foreign powers, invent missing evidence or regenerate through a mandatory final phase. The records have survived. Getting permission to read them is another problem.
