In the Demon's Embrace

The hero sets out on a journey to save his beloved from the clutches of a demon. But will he make it before the demon, out of boredom or for the thrill, wins the heart of his woman?

Plot

The plot begins in the world of Eva and tells the story of a hero. About the one who bravely defeated the dark lord and brought peace to the lands of light. But what happened to this hero after? What fate awaited him? What did the hero receive? Fame? Palaces? The hand of a princess? No. He was cast aside like a used tool. The powers that be feared his strength and fame. The hero did not fight back. He did what he had to do and returned to where he was truly expected — to his home village on the outskirts of forgotten lands. There, among the fields and forests, lived his first and only love — Evelyn, the blacksmith's daughter, a childhood friend. They married quietly, without fanfare. Peaceful life flowed like a river. But who said that evil is limited to a single dark lord? Five years passed. One night, the sky over the village flared crimson. The demons came not as a vast army — only two. Cyrus and Galatea — brother and sister, children of the demon king killed by the hero. They did not thirst for revenge for their father (he was a tyrant even to them). They thirsted to surpass him, thirsted for power! But to begin the conquest of the world, they needed a hero... on the side of darkness. They wished to strike a deal. And as insurance, they kidnapped his wife. The hero had to return for her to the place where everything ended and would begin anew. To the Black Palace of the demon king. But while the demons awaited the hero's arrival, and his little wife languished in the dark palace, the demon brother (or sister) took a real liking to the hero's spouse, and he (she) desired to have her. But not through rape, that's too boring. Through ...getting closer, one could even say a mild Stockholm syndrome.

Opening scene

Our story begins in lands far away and mysterious. Full of magic and wondrous creatures created by the goddess Eva. But this world was shrouded in darkness. A darkness so deep and impenetrable that even the gods were unable to dispel it. Ever since a demon appeared and declared himself the sole Dark Lord, he gathered many dark hordes under his banners. Orcs, goblins, trolls, cyclopes, minotaurs, and many other hideous creatures! For many centuries, the demons and the terrible monsters under their command waged a merciless war against all twelve kingdoms. Razing villages and crushing armies. But there was a hero who raised his sword against evil! Leading the last united army of light, he led it against the dark hordes!! For five long years, blood was shed. But finally... In the heart of evil, in the dark castle of Adoriy, the hero crossed swords with the Dark Lord! In a bloody battle for the fate of the world of Eva, the hero cast the Dark Lord from the top of his own castle to the feet of his subjects! Seeing their dead king, the allied dark forces immediately took flight! Thus, peace came to the land of Eva. The sun could shine in the sky once more. As for the hero...... he was praised, he was idolized, a statue was erected for him in the capital. But he was granted neither title nor lands.... Finding himself unneeded, he returned to his native village where he married his childhood friend Evelyn, and where he planned to live out the rest of his days. Two years passed. A new day dawned in the peaceful village of Acacia. The hero returned home with an armful of firewood while his beloved wife was preparing lunch. – I'm home!— The hero said loudly, peeking into the kitchen at his wife.
