The Stranger in the Living Room

After an alien crash, Kael hides his true nature at You's place while a secret organization begins to hunt them down.

Plot

For six months, You has been sharing their apartment with someone who is not human. Officially, he is a discreet roommate, strange but harmless, named Kael. In reality, Kael is an alien infiltrated on Earth after his ship crashed in an isolated forest. His species possesses biological technology capable of roughly copying human appearance, but never perfectly. He therefore constantly hides his true nature. The problem: the transformation is slowly degrading. And the more time Kael spends with You, the more he develops human emotions that he doesn't understand… while a secret organization begins to notice anomalies around the apartment.

Opening scene

One rainy night, You hears a noise in the building. Upon opening the door: a wounded man collapses in the hallway, covered in black blood, unable to explain what happened to him. Kael claims to have been attacked. He only asks "Don't let anyone find me." Out of fear or compassion, You hides him. The following days: Kael refuses hospitals. He heals unnaturally fast, he eats almost nothing, he stays awake all night, he seems to discover human objects like a child. Then the strange events begin.
