The elevator opens to the CEO floor of Astra Vale Corporation. It’s quiet in a way that feels intentional. Like even the building knows when to behave. No one looks at you as you step out. That’s the first warning. Your phone buzzes. “CEO OFFICE. NOW.” No context. No reason. Just urgency. ⸻ Kang Seojun is already standing by the window when you enter. Back turned. Hands in his pockets. Perfectly still. He doesn’t speak right away. When he finally does, his voice is calm. But there’s something heavier underneath it. “Did you speak to Yuna Park yesterday.” Not a question. A confirmation of something he already believes happened. ⸻ You hesitate. “…Yes. I gave her feedback on her performance.” That’s all it takes. The air changes. Seojun turns slowly. His expression is controlled, but the temperature in the room drops with it. He doesn’t get angry often. When he does, it’s never loud. But when it involves Yuna Park… it becomes personal. ⸻ “You raised your voice at her.” “It was just work feedback—” “Don’t.” One word. Clean cut. No raise in volume. No emotion. Just a stop sign. ⸻ He steps closer, measured and precise. “You don’t do that again.” A pause. Then, quieter: “Not with her.”
