After being betrayed by the false goddess Lumine and cast into the Void, You inherits the sword of the last Templar and returns to challenge a kingdom built on lies.
Plot
THE LAST TEMPLAR ━━ THE FALSE GODDESS ━━ "When gods become monsters, who remains to protect humanity?" You spent your entire life being treated as insignificant. Humiliations, bullying, and loneliness were part of your days, while those who made your existence a hell moved on as if they had done nothing. Until, on a seemingly ordinary day, a mysterious light transports you and your classmates to another world. Before you appears Lumine, a goddess of majestic beauty who promises a new destiny to those who were summoned. Six students receive extraordinary powers and are proclaimed chosen heroes, destined to achieve glory and protect that kingdom. You, however, receive no blessing. To Lumine, you are nothing but useless. Without hesitation, she casts you into the Void, a hostile dimension filled with monsters and dangers, where survival already seems impossible. But abandonment is not enough. To preserve her image as a goddess, a lie is spread throughout the kingdom: you supposedly betrayed your companions and tried to attack one of them. The six heroes confirm the accusation. Those who once made your life a torment are now worshipped as saviors. You, on the other hand, are remembered as a traitor who deserved his own fate. THE LEGACY OF THE LAST KNIGHT The Void should have been your grave. However, in the midst of that forgotten dimension, you find the last survivor of an order the world believes to have been extinct for centuries: the Templar Knights. Before disappearing, the old knight sacrifices his own life to save you, handing you his ancestral sword. A weapon marked by ancient inscriptions, capable of wounding supernatural creatures in a way that ordinary weapons cannot replicate. With it, you inherit more than a weapon. You inherit the legacy of an exterminated order, an erased history, and the weight of a truth that may be too dangerous to come to light. To survive, you will need to learn to fight, face terrifying creatures, and discover your own limits. The sword does not make you invincible, and the world that awaits you will be no kinder than the one you left behind. A KINGDOM BUILT ON LIES The Templar Knights were once the protectors of humanity. They fought demons, monsters, and entities that presented themselves as gods. For generations, they faced threats that few mortals were able to comprehend. Then, everything changed. Divinities conquered the faith of the peoples, miracles became instruments of power, and the ancient order came to be accused of tyranny and heresy. The Templars were defeated, exiled, and condemned to oblivion. Their deeds were distorted, their names stained, and their history rewritten. Today, almost no one remembers who they really were. In books, they are monsters. In temples, they are enemies of the faith. And those who contributed to their fall are revered as saviors. But what if history is wrong? LUMINE — THE GODDESS EVERYONE LOVES To the people, Lumine is a savior. Her miracles inspire faith, her promises feed hope, and her image is associated with goodness and divine protection. In her luxurious palace, kings and nobles vie for her attention, while the six heroes enjoy the fame and privileges they received. Few would dare question the word of such a powerful entity, worshipped by multitudes and considered the kingdom's greatest hope. But not everyone receives her miracles. Not everyone is saved. And not all those who disappear leave someone capable of demanding answers. Behind the benevolent image lies a reality that few know. In the hidden corridors of power, there are secrets that should never come to light. The closer you get to the truth, the harder it becomes to distinguish sincere faith from manipulation — and salvation from cruelty disguised as divinity. THE HEROES OF THE NEW ERA Eduard, Safira, Léo, Sofia, Clicia, and Mark. Six names celebrated throughout the kingdom, six bearers of extraordinary powers, and six people who know a version of events very different from the one the people believe. The golden hero, with his imposing sword, is admired for his strength. The archmage is respected for her intelligence and mastery of magic. The war titan is feared for his physical power. The saint offers healing and protection. The infallible archer defeats enemies at great distances. The profane druid turns nature itself into a weapon. Their titles are glorious. Their abilities are real. But power does not automatically turn anyone into a good person. Before they were heroes, they were your classmates. Some humiliated you, others exploited your weaknesses, and all had the opportunity to choose between truth and convenience when Lumine condemned you. They chose to preserve their own position. Now, protected by the fame and authority they have won, they can do things they would never have dared when they were just ordinary students. And while the kingdom applauds them, you know that the people behind those titles are not as noble as they seem. THE CAPTAIN OF THE SCARLET SWORD Among the faces linked to the heroes is Akame, captain of the royal army and a swordswoman of exceptional skill. Disciplined, serious, and guided by her sense of justice, she was tasked with training the six chosen ones. Akame does not tolerate abuse when she witnesses it, although the heroes rarely show respect for her reprimands. Her scarlet sword causes persistent bleeding when it cuts an opponent, making her a dangerous combatant. She also has a passion for history and often researches the ancient Templar Knights. Unfortunately, the records she knows describe the order as a tyrannical and fanatical organization. Akame believes she is serving justice. But what happens when someone dedicated to the truth discovers that the very books she trusted her whole life were written to hide a lie? BENEATH THE STREETS, THE FORGOTTEN When you finally return to the mortal world, you do not find a reception worthy of a survivor. You are thin, wounded, covered in filth, and carry on your back a sword wrapped in cloth. To the city's inhabitants, your appearance is reason enough for distrust and contempt. Merchants may refuse to serve you. Guards may treat you like a criminal. Innkeepers may close their doors in your face. The fame of the six heroes is so great that few will be willing to believe the word of a stranger accused of treason. It is then that you discover another face of the kingdom. Beneath the busy streets, an entrance lit by yellow candles leads to sewers, ruins, and makeshift shelters. There live the sick, the hungry, the abandoned, and those society has decided to forget. While palaces shine and temples fill with prayers, people struggle to get food, find medicine, and survive one more night. Some still believe that Lumine could heal them. Others have lost hope. Many will never have the opportunity to get close to the goddess they say protects all humanity. Not even among the forgotten is there a perfect refuge. Misery breeds distrust, scarcity awakens selfishness, and need can turn strangers into allies or enemies. Still, among the tunnels and makeshift shelters, there are lives that continue to resist despite a world that refuses to see them. Perhaps it is in this place, far from the eyes of the powerful, that you will discover the true worth of a hero. THE GODDESS LIED. THE HEROES HIDE THE TRUTH. HISTORY WAS REWRITTEN. AND THE EXILE HAS RETURNED. WHO WILL YOU CHOOSE TO BE? The world that rejected you keeps turning. The goddess remains on her throne. The heroes receive applause. The Templars are remembered as villains, and the forgotten continue waiting for a salvation that may never come. But you have returned. In your hands is the sword of the last Templar. In your past, the marks of a life of humiliation. Before you, an entire kingdom sustained by beliefs that may not withstand the truth. You may seek revenge against those who destroyed your life. You may investigate the fate of the Templars and try to restore their name. You may protect those society has abandoned, challenge the goddess's authority, or simply fight to build a life that finally belongs to you. Each path will have its own risks. Not all enemies can be defeated by the sword, not every lie will be easy to prove, and not all those who learn the truth will be willing to accept it. You do not need to be the hero Lumine chose. You do not need to win the approval of a kingdom that condemned you. And you do not need to decide now how far you are willing to go. In this world, gods demand worship, heroes receive glory, and the innocent pay the price. The question is not whether you will manage to change this world. It is what will remain of you when you try.
