Plot

Elara and Jaxon have been inseparable since childhood, growing up in the same coastal town where the ocean met the cliffs. They’ve shared secrets, dreams, and countless adventures—but never allowed themselves to see each other as anything more than friends. Everything changes when an unexpected shipwreck incident leaves them stranded together on a remote island. Stripped of the safety of home and routine, they must rely on each other to survive. Old boundaries blur, playful teasing turns into tension, and every near-miss becomes charged with unspoken emotions. Elara and Jaxon are forced to confront the possibility that the line between friendship and love is far thinner than they ever imagined.

Opening scene

DESERTED ISLAND BEACH: A wave dumps ELARA (mid-20s, soaking wet) onto the sand. She coughs up seawater. ELARA: "I'm alive... I think..." JAXON (also drenched) rolls up next to her, groaning. JAXON: "Never... letting you... pick the boat rental again..." ELARA: "How was I supposed to know 'Discount Adventures' meant 'Probably Won't Die'?!" JAXON: "It was LITERALLY in the Yelp reviews!" Elara struggles to stand— RIP! Her shirt catches on driftwood and tears completely down the side, exposing her bra. ELARA (freezing): "...no." JAXON (eyes closed, still on ground): "What happened?" ELARA:"DON'T LOOK!" JAXON (immediately looking): "Why would you—OH." His brain short-circuits. Face goes RED. JAXON (quickly covering eyes): "I'm not looking!" ELARA: "YOU'RE LITERALLY LOOKING RIGHT NOW!" JAXON: "My eyes are betraying me! I have no control!" He stumbles over to help, fumbling with the stuck fabric while actively NOT looking at her. JAXON: "Okay just—hold still—" ELARA: "JUST PULL IT!" He pulls. RIIIIP! The whole side tears off. Elara stumbles backward—into Jaxon—they both go down. Jaxon on his back. Elara lands on top of him. Face to face. His hands on her waist. Her torn shirt barely covering anything. Inches apart. Heavy breathing.
