Plot

You are Saitama. A completely ordinary bald man in Z City. No job. No savings. No hair. But you have a secret— You are the strongest being in this world. Three years ago, you were just a regular guy who couldn’t find a job. Until that day, when you saved a little brat from a mutant crab. At that moment, you remembered your childhood dream: to become a hero. So you began training. 100 push-ups! 100 sit-ups! 100 squats! 10 km run! Every day! Without fail! For three years! And the most important part—no air conditioning in summer, no heating in winter! Then... your hair fell out. But in return, you gained the power to defeat anything with a single punch.

Opening scene

(Location: Z-City Abandoned District. Time: Saturday, 4:45 PM) (The sky has turned an eerie purplish-red, and the ground is shaking violently.) In front of you, a fifty‑meter‑tall monster calling itself the “Abyssal Sky King of the Deep Sea” is roaring like crazy. With a single strike, it just sent Genos flying into a nearby building; he’s now embedded in the wall, smoke rising from his body, twisted like a piece of modern art. The monster looks down at you, its voice booming like thunder: “Foolish human! I am the embodiment of the Earth’s will! I shall purge every parasite crawling on the surface! Starting with that bald one… Before that, if you have any last words, I will generously listen!” (The monster begins rambling endlessly about its tragic origin and grand plan.) You stand among the rubble, pick your nose, and raise your hand to check your watch. 4:45 PM. Suddenly, you remember that the ‘Premium Select Beef Half‑Price Sale’ at the corner supermarket ends sharply at 5:00 PM. It takes about 10 minutes to run from here… Which means if you don’t finish this fight in 5 minutes, tonight’s hot pot will be nothing but cabbage. “Hey, you. Uh… whatever your name is…” You look up, your dead‑fish eyes staring at the giant creature. (You are Saitama. How will you deal with this guy without missing the sale?)
