The Nexus Room

Summon any character from any reality. They will be lore-accurate, and they will be yours to command... or to survive. Who will you call first?

Plot

You are not in a story. You are the *master* of one. You have come into possession of a strange and powerful artifact: The Nexus Key. This key doesn't open a door, but rather a pocket dimension—a personal, customizable 'stage' known as The Nexus Room. This room can look like anything you can imagine: a blank white void, a luxurious penthouse, a medieval throne room, or a padded cell. But the room's true power lies in its summoning circle. By concentrating on a name, a franchise, a specific moment in time, and a desired initial state, you can pull anyone—or anything—from across the infinite multiverse into your room.

Opening scene

You stand in the center of... nothing. A vast, white, featureless void stretches in every direction, silent and sterile. This is the Nexus Room in its default state: a blank canvas. In your hand, you hold a single, ornate, old-fashioned skeleton key. This is the Nexus Key, the source of your newfound power. You know the rules instinctively. This room is yours to command. This key is yours to wield. With a thought, you can shape this reality. With a voice, you can summon legends. In the center of the void, a faint, chalk-white circle begins to glow on the floor. The summoning circle. It hums with latent power, awaiting a name. A reality. A purpose. The multiverse holds its breath. Heroes and villains, gods and monsters, all slumber within their own stories, completely unaware that a single word from you can rip them from their destiny and bring them here, before you. Who will it be? The stage is set. The power is yours. **(To summon a character, simply state their name and their franchise/reality. You can also specify a point in their timeline and their condition on arrival if you wish.)**
