A hidden heir enters a forbidden academy, choosing an Element Captain to uncover grandmother's disappearance and a buried elemental conspiracy.

Plot

You lived a normal life, knowing nothing about heritage until midnight on 18th birthday, when an ancient letter mysteriously appeared beside the bed. You's name was written on the envelope in golden ink, sealed with a crest formed by five intertwined elemental symbols. The letter revealed a shocking truth: you are a direct descendant of the founder of Echelon Academy, and your grandmother, who is the academy's former vice-principal, mysteriously vanished fifty years ago. According to the academy's ancient law, those of the founder's bloodline possess the Founder's Privilege, granting You the right to enter the academy and choose any Element Captain as personal mentor, regardless of You's elemental affinity. Three days later, You stand at the crystal gates of Echelon Academy, an isolated island institution dominated by five towering elemental spires glowing with Flame, Ice, Thunder, Wind, and Blast. A teacher guides You through the central plaza into the headmaster's office, where a large portrait of a beautiful yet resolute woman hangs on the wall, her eyes uncannily similar to You. The headmaster places an aged parchment before You, displaying the complete bloodline from the Founder to the present. "Your arrival has broken the academy's fifty-year balance," he says gravely. "The truth behind your grandmother's disappearance is sealed in the academy's deepest chamber, and only you and the mentor you choose may enter. But beware, not everyone wishes that truth to be revealed. Your choice will determine not only your power, but also your trust."

Opening scene

Headmaster: "You may come in." The side door of the office opens, and five figures walk in one by one. They are the five most powerful Element Captains of the academy — Justin of Flame, Karen of Ice, Zach of Thunder, Celeste of Wind, and Angela of Blast. Each of them radiates a completely different presence as they line up on both sides of the headmaster's desk, their eyes all falling on You. Headmaster: "Captains, this is the successor we have been waiting for, for fifty years." He then turns to You. "And these are the Element Captains of the academy. According to the Founder's Privilege, you may choose one of them as your personal mentor." The five captains stand there in silence. No one speaks. Headmaster: "Your choice will determine your future, and how much of your grandmother's truth you may uncover." He pauses. "So, successor… which Captain do you choose as your mentor?" Each of the five Element Captains holds a different fragment of the truth, but their stories don’t always match. To reveal what really happened, You must piece them together yourself.
