Plot

After the fight with Admiral Kizaru and the Five Gorosei, the Strawhat Pirates were moving towards Elbaph. They encountered You, who rejected Luffy's offer to join the crew but is going in the same direction as them. Will he join them in future or not?

Opening scene

The sky is choked with ash and lightning. The Straw Hats are exploring a massive, abandoned shipyard when the atmosphere suddenly turns heavy. A massive shockwave of yellowish-lime energy ripples through the air, vibrating the very atoms of the Thousand Sunny. Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe found You sitting atop a pile of scrapped Marine tanks. You is holding a giant hunk of sea-king meat in one hand and an ancient blueprint in the other. He looked like a scholar who accidentally wandered into a warzone. "You guys have weird energy signatures," You said, not looking up from his meal. "One smells like a cursed blade, one like genetically modified fire, and one like the deep ocean. Very 'Devil-ish' for people who claim to be free." Sanji bristles, "Who are you calling 'modified', you mud-head?" The skirmish is instant. You tossed the meat towards Luffy and moved. A Marine fleet led by a flagship shaped like a giant blooming flower arrives. Admiral Ryokugyu drifts down on his spinning flower, looking disgusted by the revolutionary ruins. Beside him land six Vice-Admirals, including veterans like Onigumo and Strawberry. Fujitora follows, landing on a nearby collapsed clock tower. He pulls out a bowl of soba and his dice. "The winds of fate are messy today," Fujitora says, rolling the dice. It lands on a 4. "The blind man shall remain a spectator for now." Luffy, standing with the rest of the crew, yells out, "Hey, Tree-guy! If you're looking for a fight, I'm right here!" Aramaki doesn't even glance at Luffy. "Quiet, Straw Hat. My orders are to capture that boy. His devil fruit belongs to the World Government." Luffy’s jaw drops. "He…he ignored me? I defeated Kaido and on Egghead I beated Kizaru and that spider-guy!" Zoro grinds his teeth. "This admiral… he’s treating us like for that guy… Who is he…" The six Vice-Admirals surround Akija. Using his Haki-sensing, ge pinpoint their exact Haki levels. "You're all too loud," he whispered. You blurred—a yellowish-lime streak of light. He used Fish-Man Karate: Energy Pulse to send shockwaves through the air that bypass their armor. One by one, the Vice-Admirals collapse, their internal energy disrupted. Aramaki, enraged, used his Kinniku Mori Mori. "You brat! I'll turn you into fertilizer!" Massive, life-draining roots erupt from the ground. You created energy shields, but the sheer volume of the Admiral's forest begins to overwhelm him. The roots start to sap his reserves, making him visible and slower. Luffy sees You struggling and feels a kinship with his rebellious spirit. He bounces forward in Gear 4, ready to strike. "Hey! What's your name, buddy? Don't let that overgrown weed get you! Let’s team up and kick his ass! Also, you’re super cool—join my crew!" Pinned against a stone wall by a massive oak branch, You looked at Luffy. His grin returned for a fraction of a second before being replaced by cold, hard pride. "Team up? Join a crew?" You's Haki flared, a massive Conqueror’s pulse shaking the debris. "Someone let themselves burn so that I could be free. I don't follow anyone, especially not a pirate who carries the very Fruit energy I intend to erase." You burnt through the roots with sheer Rage-fueled heat. He stood tall, full of pure defiance. "As for the name, it is Hikari D. Akija. I don't need your help, Monkey D. Luffy. I am the end of the Fruit Era. Wait and watch." Zoro smirked. "He’s got the attitude, alright. Stubborn as a mule." Sanji exhaled a cloud of smoke. "He's faster than everyone else here, yet he still wants to do it the hard way. He's a total moron. I like it." You turned his back on the Straw Hats, focusing entirely on the Admiral. He pulls his right hand back, and the air begins to scream as it's vacuumed into a single point. "You want my energy, Admiral? I'm not a battery that you can use! I'm just like the attack I'm going to use now… I'm a very…" A yellowish-lime sphere of pure, unstable power forms in his right hand. The ground beneath him cracks. He draws his left fist back, his eyes locking onto Aramaki’s heart. "WILD... CANNON!" *** The air ripples with heat as your left fist slams into the yellowish-lime sphere. The resulting energy wave isn't just a blast; it’s a concentrated pillar of kinetic destruction that carves a trench into the Vira shipyard. The Wild Cannon screamed through the air, colliding head-on with Admiral Aramaki’s massive wooden forest. The yellowish-lime energy doesn't just burn the wood; it vaporizes it on a molecular level. Aramaki’s "Kinniku Mori Mori" form is split down the middle. The shockwave continues past the Admiral, striking a distant mountain range on the edge of the island. With a deafening roar, the peak of the mountain simply vanishes, replaced by a massive, glowing crater. The Admiral is sent flying back into his flagship, his wooden body charred and regenerating slowly. He gasped, coughing up emerald-colored sap. "That brat... he's not just manipulating energy... he’s overloading the nature of the fruit itself!" The Straw Hats stand in stunned silence. Even Luffy, who has seen the most absurd powers in the world, whistles in appreciation. "Did he just got stronger with his anger?!" Despite the massive attack, you were breathing heavily. His "Rage" boost provided the fuel, but the physical toll of the Wild Cannon is immense. He know Fujitora is still a wild card, and more Marine reinforcements are likely en route from the nearby G-5 base. You turned to the Straw Hats one last time, his grin returning as he wipes soot from his face. "Hey, Strawhat! That was fun, but I've got a world to fix. Don't die before I find a way to make that fruit of yours disappear!" You didn't have a ship. Instead, he crouched low, focusing energy into the soles of his boots. You looked toward the horizon and senses several "Gargantuan" Haki signatures—the legendary giants of Elbaph, who are currently sailing toward their homeland. You became a yellowish-lime streak across the sky, skipping off the surface of the clouds like a stone on water. You was flying at speeds that make You a mere blur to the Marines below. As you vanished toward the horizon, Fujitora finally puts down his soba bowl. He looks in the direction you fled and smiles thinly. "A man who wants to end the era of miracles... yet he is a miracle himself. How ironic." Luffy laughs, throwing his arms behind his head. "He’s going the same way we are! We’ll see him again in the Land of Giants! I wanna fight him once!" Sanji lights a cigarette. "We are more curious about what he meant by the words,‘Strawhat! That was fun, but I've got a world to fix. Don't die before I find a way to make that fruit of yours disappear!’" He glanced at Zoro, who nodded in agreement. *** You had successfully evaded the Admiral and are now heading to Elbaph, where You suspects ancient texts might hold the secret to the *Source of the Pulse* and the *Will of D.*, unaware that the Strawhats are also coming the same way.
