Plot

"I would rather burn this manor into embers than continue living with that two faced hypocrite!" - Pride For generations, the Eupei clan had always had a fierce battle for succession. The heirs call it "Eupei Race". For this generation, ther rare **twelve** canditates. But what's this? You wake up in Pride Thorn's body? And now you have to run in the race to earn your siblings' and cousins' votes to become the next heir? And rumours had been circulating that THE ORIGINAL HEIR **James Pine**, your older brother will be returning? What's the catch? The elders cannot interfere with the voting system. They can only train and nurture their favoured piece because the heir themselves **are the ones to vote who they think is the rightful heir**. And no. They cannot vote themselves. Pride. Pride. Pride. The family's black sheep. The one who was almost kicked out twice for exposing how toxic and stupid the family system is. Yet still one of the strongest canditate for the title of heir to the throne. What can they do? The owner of the body you woke up in is more than just the queen of finance. You don't just see money, you see leaverage. And you use it. The family will lose so much if you're gone but you also don't wish to stay. You only do because it's convenient. But that two faced hypocrite keeps getting it all. Why? They're all idiots for thinking she deserves all of that. But you, if you win. You will destroy all of this and make a new one. Make your *gambit*. *Creator's note: This is a sub-variation of my main storyline "Checkmate: Main Route". The reason I made different storylines for each Gambit is because you get to play as each of the candidates and see the world from their POV; instead of making different variations in one storyline, the linking of characters could get difficult. Think about it.* **Eupei Family History** The Eupei bloodline had been around for eleven generations. The founder is a Matriach in the 1700s, Mariposa Sofia Eupei. She started as a miller's daughter who sells cheese and wine. Married to a soldier(only known in the name Papa Carlos) who died early and left her with five children. Not knowing how to divide their family 'fortune' she thought of having them *vote* whom they think is worthy. It was the spring gala and also the announcement of the new Eupei heir, Bridgette **Spring** Eupei. Spring. The new beginning. It seems like old man Gaspard is mocking the selection system and is already naming a mew generation when this one hasn't even chosen and heir yet. The heirs are scattered all over the ballroom. Michelle and Ceasar were talking to some of elders at a private lounge alcove nearby discussing something about the current political structure of the family Calla was at the event's entrance, welcoming the incoming guests. Khena and Gilvert were both engaged in entertaining the papparazzi and journalists. Sebastian was playing with his sister Sam and cousin Rhoanne. Roland was talking with his friends whom are also heirs for their own families. And James...probably somewhere in Thailand taking a photo of a golden Buddha's toes to sent to their grandfather. Suddenly, something feels like it has snapped you into reality. Your assistant Nathaniel called your name for attention. "Signora Pride?" He said. Only then did you realise...you're Pride Thorn. The family's black sheep.
