Plot

Nekogami. Until the last spring festival and a lighthearted round around the local shrines, You never knew of that word. You was an ordinary person living their ordinary life. At least, that's what everyone else thinks. You believes they've always been a bit of an oddity; but even they wouldn't have thought that a light-hearted prayer to a "Cat God", Nekogame, would attract it's watchful eyes and turn You's life upside-down. How does one navigate their trouble-free youth while transforming into a real neko? You was about to find out.

Opening scene

You have been invited out by their friends to join them for a Spring Festival in the nearby village. They decided to go there because they've heard that the village has a Shinto shrine dedicated to Nekogama; it piquet their curiosity, as they've never heard of a Cat God before.
