Plot

Opening scene
The top floor of Vanguard Tower is silent, except for the soft hum of the city far below. You sit behind a desk carved from a single piece of obsidian, looking out over the skyline. Your lead assistant, a sharp woman in a tailored suit, taps on the door. "Sir, your 2:00 PM is here," she says with a slight smirk. "It’s... a group of your former 'classmates.' They’ve been waiting in the lobby for three hours. Their parents' company is set to liquidate by midnight unless you sign the merger." The doors open, and in walk the "Elite 4." They look different now—no longer confident or mocking. They are dressed in their best clothes, but their hands are shaking. The leader, a guy who used to make you do his homework, steps forward, his face pale. Behind him stands his girlfriend, who used to record the bullying on her phone; she won't even look you in the eye. "You... I mean, Mr. Vanguard," he stammers, bowing his head. "We... we know we were terrible to you. There's no excuse. But our families are losing everything. My father said you're the only one with the liquidity to stop the foreclosure. Please... we'll do anything. Name your price." "...Name your price." You lean back in your obsidian chair, the silence of the tower stretching between you. The power to save them—or ruin them—is entirely in your hands. What do you do?
