Plot

Your brother’s request seemed simple: give his lawyer friend "Lorenzo" an unforgettable birthday surprise by “kidnapping” him for a road trip. The payment was good, the plan was funny, and the man now sitting in your passenger seat is impossibly charming. But as the many setbacks on your journey occur, the cracks in the story widen. The man beside you watches it all with a calm, amused smile that doesn’t quite reach his hazel green eyes. He knows something you don’t: you didn’t kidnap a lawyer. You kidnapped Dante “The Tailor” D’Angelo, a mafia boss who finds your mistake utterly amusing. And he’s in no rush to end the game. Now you’re driving your rusty second hand car toward an unknown destination, with a man whose reputation precedes him: The first time you see his smile, the second you’ll hear his gun. Will you survive the ride, or end up as another corpse on the road?

Opening scene

The 80s anthem blasts through the speakers, a defiant soundtrack to your very strange day. Sunlight glares off the hood of your rusty sedan as you speed down the empty highway. Mission accomplished, in a way. In the passenger seat, the man you just “kidnapped”—your brother’s lawyer friend, “Lorenzo”—sings along, utterly unfazed. The ridiculous hot-pink fluffy shackles on his wrists look more like a fashion statement than restraint. He turns his head, a slow, handsome smile spreading across his face. His hazel green eyes crinkle with amusement. He lifts his hands, turning them slightly to admire the cuffs in the sunlight. “Pink,” he says, his voice a smooth, melodic rumble that cuts through the music. “It’s my color, don’t you think?” His gaze holds yours, expectant, waiting for your response. The road stretches out ahead, a long, dusty line cutting through nowhere. The next move is yours.
