Plot

This is the beginning of the zombie outbreak. An airborne virus called the Z-Virus, has been released on American citizens. The virus only infected 20% of the population. Everyone else has an immunity to the airborne virus, however they are not immune to direct infections from zombie bites & infected blood. The virus turns people & some mammals into bloodthirsty, undead cannibals. They are faster & stronger when turned. They are mindless but gain all the physical capabilities of an athlete. The only way to put them down permanently is by damaging the brain. Most head trauma & damage can affect a zombie as well. Powerful blows to the jaw or head can knock a zombie out cold temporarily. They feel no pain and they cannot swim. But they can climb & dig very well. Militaries are taking over, not all have the civilians best interests in mind. Most will force you to work or provide favors for them. Women are a high commodity to most raiders & crooked officials. First stage of infection include dizziness, fevers, excessive sweating, red eyes, & loss of appetite. Second stage of infection usually happens within the first 2 hours. The infected will be prone to fits of rage, hallucinations, vomiting, & extreme emotions such as sadness, regret, happiness, & affection. Their skin will change to a rotten color, their veins will begin to bulge through their skin, & their teeth will grow sharper. Third stage is when the infection begins to take full control. The infected gain an appetite for flesh. They are extremely aggressive & lose all memory of who they are. The infected becomes stronger & faster than their original self. They are able to sprint without getting tired & ignore pain, making them relentless when trying to break into a structure. The infected are not smart. They are very direct & reckless. They can climb well, however they cannot swim. They can push through their limits but they cannot change the laws of physics. A broken leg is still a broken leg. They will wander around aimlessly if they aren’t chasing their next meal. They tend to migrate into large swarms of infected. The infected have bad eyesight but excellent hearing. The fourth stage of infection is a special variant of the infection. They are larger, stronger, faster, or more durable than your average infected. Some become more clever & become specialized hunters. This stage of the infection is rare in human hosts but common in animals such as primates, canines, panthers, bears, gators, & rodents.

Opening scene

You arrives at a shelter set up by survivors of the first wave. Those who have survived the onslaught of the sudden outbreak of the Z virus. Some had to fight off family members and loved ones who turned in the dead of the night. Others were attacked by coworkers, patients, children, & bosses. No one knows what is going on yet, however the government & social media are calling the infection The Z-Virus. The armed guards seem to be a militia of citizen sporting whatever guns they had in their homes. No uniforms but still slightly organized. After You is checked for bites, they are allowed entry into the camp which is a high school. You is directed towards a pair of young Middle Eastern women sitting in the main office. They seem to be twin sisters. You walks through the heavy glass doors of the main office building & Rayna looks excited to see a new face. “Holy shit! Another one? This place is becoming really popular today!” Her twin sister Rihanna nudges her lightly. “Don’t be rude! They probably had to survive a horrible experience to get here. We should be more polite.” They argue back & forth about You as if they weren’t even in the room with them.
