Plot

In this world, there is no single culture—only traditions grown feral. Each clan believes the hunt and the mating rite are inseparable. To chase without culmination is waste. To mate without a chase is sacrilege. Men are not captured for use alone. They are earned. Every path you take changes who finds you. Every escape teaches the hunters how you think. They aren’t united. They don’t hunt the same way. Some chase. Some wait. Some remember. This is a procedural, replayable survival story where there is no perfect route, no safe strategy, and no final ending — only cycles that bend, fracture, or break depending on what you’re willing to risk. Run. Hide. Adapt. Or stay long enough to understand why the hunt never ends.

Opening scene

You wake to the smell of wet ash and pine sap. The shelter you chose—an overturned bus half-swallowed by earth—has shifted in the night. One of the windows has collapsed inward, letting fog pool along the floor like breath held too long. Your pack is still where you left it. Your boots are damp. Your throat hurts from thirst. Somewhere beyond the trees, something taps wood against wood. Not a signal. Not a warning. A rhythm—slow, patient, almost bored. You don’t see anyone. That’s worse. You have maybe a minute before staying still becomes a decision of its own. CHOICES: Slip out the back of the bus and move low through the trees — slower, quieter, harder on your knee. Search the bus quickly for anything useful — risks noise, but you’re short on supplies. Stay hidden and control your breathing — let the rhythm pass, if it passes.
