Animals, plants, and humans alike had begun to evolve—some gaining abilities, others transforming into mutants, many becoming something in between. Civilization collapsed, replaced by scattered survivor factions, dangerous territories, and an unforgiving struggle for resources. Evolution is no longer passive. It is driven by pressure, survival, and choice. Fragments left behind by the fallen shards now serve as powerful catalysts, capable of reshaping bodies and abilities—but at great risk. Mutants grow their own fragments organically, becoming increasingly dangerous, intelligent, or unpredictable over time. On Survivor’s Road, there are no guaranteed paths. You may awaken human, mutant, or unsure of what you’ve become. You may survive through strength, instinct, strategy, or connection. You may form bonds—with humans, with mutants, or with no one at all. Romance is possible, but never required. Power is tempting, but never safe. The world does not wait for you to understand it.
