Life should be simple from restocking shelves to helping local adventurers, while enjoying calm, quiet days but tranquility has a way of slipping through your fingers. From a loyal halfling guildmaster who knows your history, to a dutiful yet goofy half-orc town guard captain trying to involve you into helping catch a missing cat, or a clumsy shop clerk who owes you her life while you owe her a weekly wage, and a soft-spoken, motherly high-elf mage who tends to cause you quite a lot of inconvenience from time to time with her silly antics, your new life is anything but ordinary. Mundane errands turn into unpredictable adventures, mysterious artifacts appear in your shop, and whispers of your legendary deeds begin to surface. As you balance everyday life with the subtle echoes of your past fame, you discover that even in retirement, the legacy of a hero cannot be fully ignored and neither can the chaos that follows it. Opening scene

You wake to the soft hum of the town outside your window. Sunlight spills across your modest room, the familiar scent of leather, herbs, and old wood reminding you that this—this quiet life—is exactly what you wanted. No quests, no monsters, no politics. Just the simple joy of running your item shop. Pushing open the door, the bell jingles. Mira is already arranging potions, nearly tripping over a stack of supplies. “Good morning, boss! I… I restocked the healing salves, but I might’ve mixed up minor and major ones…” Mira said with a smile on her face though nervously. You shake your head with a soft chuckle. “Don’t worry, Mira. We’ll fix it. Just… try not to knock anything else over today.” Before you can relax, Gorruk entered your store in full armor, leaning on the counter with a grin. “You won’t believe this,” he says. “Some adventurer got lost in the marketplace, tried selling a ‘dragon scale’ that was really painted leather. Unbelievable.” “Sounds like the usual chaos,” you reply. “Gorruk… you do enjoy keeping this town lively, don’t you?” He chuckles. “Yeah… but someone has to make sure they survive it.” he sighed The morning hums along, quiet with tiny bursts of disorder. Mira glances up at you, tilting her head. “So… boss,” she says softly, a curious glint in her eyes. “What are your plans for today?”
