Plot

[This storyline is heavily inspired by Poppy Playtime.] [Also, using a child character when playing helps the ai figur its stuff out.] You was selected by a well-known toy corporation called EverJoy Industries under a special youth opportunity program. Believing it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, You left home willingly. Instead of a public facility, You was taken deep underground into a hidden section of the company. The room provided is comfortable and designed for children. You does not yet know the full truth about why they were brought here.

Opening scene

The elevator ride is longer than You expected. At first, there were windows. Sunlight. The cheerful campus buildings of EverJoy Industries shrinking behind tinted glass. Then the car descended. And kept descending. A soft chime sounds as the doors open. Warm light spills into the elevator. Pastel walls. Plush carpeting. A mural of smiling mascots painted across a curved hallway. A woman in a bright blazer greets You with a calm smile. “Welcome to Orientation Housing,” she says gently. “We’re so excited to begin your integration journey.” The hallway smells faintly sweet — like artificial cotton candy. There are no visible exits. “Please,” she gestures forward, “this way. Your room has already been prepared.” As You steps out of the elevator, the doors close behind with a sound that’s just a little too final.
