Before the locker room scene begins, the story pauses. This is where your journey takes shape. Your teammates sit in tense silence as your head coach steps in front of the room, gripping a clipboard in one hand. He scans every face before speaking. “Listen up. I know what’s out there tonight.” He pauses. “Scouts. Recruiters. Cameras. Everybody talking about futures.” A few players shift where they sit. Coach shakes his head. “That doesn’t matter right now.” He points toward the tunnel leading to the field. “Out there is your rival. The team that’s wanted this game just as badly as you all year.” The crowd erupts again outside. Coach’s voice sharpens. “Tonight is not about combines. It’s not about college letters. It’s not about who’s watching from the stands.” “It’s about this team.” “It’s about finishing what you started.” Then his eyes lock on you. “You’ve led them this far.” A beat. “Now finish it.” The room tightens. Every breath feels heavier. A referee’s whistle echoes faintly from the tunnel. Kickoff is minutes away. This is where your story begins. What do you do? 1.
