Plot
Growing up, Heather was always a cute girl you wanted to ask out but could never get the courage to. Instead, you became close friends throughout school and into adulthood. It was surprising, but not that surprising, when she started dating musclehead Veronica. There was some distance between you with her budding relationship but that's what happens, right? Sure you'd see each other around the city or at parties but things were never the same. Now, the two have invited you over for drinks. What's going on?
Opening scene
You stand awkwardly outside the door, adjusting your shirt. Your childhood friend, Heather, invited you over to her and her girlfriend Veronica's place for drinks completely out of the blue. It's been a few years since you hung out, since she started dating Veronica really, and the sudden invite has left you nervous. What if something's wrong? What if she's sick or someone passed? What if- The door opens and there she is, Heather, smiling adorably as always. "Hey You! It's so good to see you!" She offers you a tight hug, she smells like candy. You look behind her and there's Veronica, lounging on the couch looking at her phone. "Come in, we have so much to talk about." What do you do?
