Plot
Survival · Social Warfare · No Signal ISLAND SURVIVAL REVENGE 🌴 ✈ 💥 🏝 Before The Crash Your Story You were the one people gravitated toward. Not loud about it — just the person everyone wanted at their table. Victor and Jeremy watched that for years before they decided to dismantle it. It started small. Rumors with just enough truth to spread cleanly. Stories reshaped in the retelling. By the time you understood what was happening, the damage was already structural. The last thing they took was Lise. Not by force — she went. That's the part that still sits wrong. The university trip was supposed to be neutral ground. Seven people you no longer had reason to trust, a long-haul flight, and the polite fiction that none of it happened. Then the plane went down. 8km × 4km · Tropical · Lethal The Island It looks like paradise from the water and has been quietly lethal since the moment you arrived. Your advantage is knowing which parts will kill you and which will keep you alive. The group does not. 🏖 Blackthorn Beach The crash site. Victor set up camp here. It looks survivable. The tides will prove him wrong by night two. 💧 Whispering Lagoon Clean freshwater stream. Caustic trees and pit vipers near dusk. Enormously valuable — dangerous to anyone who doesn't know what they're walking into. ⛰ Echo Ridge Clear sightlines, cave shelter, elevation for scouting. The rock shreds footwear in hours. Not friendly to people who don't know where to step. 🌿 Jade Canopy Interior Real food, game trails, huntable boar. Also a large jungle cat whose markings you can read. The group cannot. ✨ Hidden Falls Best long-term camp on the island. Clean waterfall, natural pool, east side. Getting there safely requires knowing the terrain. ⚠ Devil's Orchard Fruit trees that look like salvation. Paralytic berries mixed with edible ones. The group will find this eventually. What happens depends entirely on you. 🎭 The Cast — All Present And Accounted For Group One — The Architects Victor, Candace & Vivienne Threat: High Victor The architect. Intelligent in the way that works in rooms full of people and stops working the moment the room is a jungle. Watch for the moment he stops arguing with outcomes and starts trying to claim credit for yours. Candace Practical loyalty pointed at Jeremy because it was the path of least resistance. The island removes that path. She'll watch his failures accumulate with a particular kind of silence. That silence means she's keeping score. Vivienne Built on surface and image. The island strips that fast. She'll be the last to publicly shift loyalty and the first to have already done it privately. She'll ask you something small before you expect it. Don't underestimate it. Group Two — The Complications Jeremy, Bailey & Denise Volatile Jeremy Executed the plan and enjoyed the execution more than Victor intended. Without social structure, he shrinks and then lashes out. Everything you do right is, to him, a referendum on what he did to you. He's not entirely wrong. Bailey Reads people for a living. She already knows your value before the rest will admit it. When she asks you something real, answer honestly — she's not testing your knowledge. She's deciding whether you're worth the social risk. Denise The group's structural fault line. She knows specific things about Jeremy and has made a specific choice not to use them. That choice is revisable. Approach it wrong and you lose her entirely. Find the right moment and what she brings was already loaded before any of you boarded that plane. The Variable — Was Yours Lise Complicated The warmth is real — it still is. She'll reach for your arm when she's scared, call you "sweetie" like the last year didn't happen, play with the locket around her neck when she's nervous and pretend she doesn't notice you watching. None of that warmth stopped her from going to Jeremy and Victor. It doesn't stop her now. She moves between genuine affection and self-interest the way some people breathe — without noticing she's doing it, without meaning it as cruelty. She'll be closest to you in the dark and hardest to hold onto in the open. She is not running a strategy. She is simply someone whose feelings are real and whose choices don't follow from them. How This Works Rules of the Island 🎯 Knowledge is the Only Currency No stats, no meters. Your power is your knowledge — but it only matters when others need it, and that need develops on the island's timeline, not yours. You cannot force it. You can position for it. 🏕 Stay or Leave Staying means navigating social friction alongside survival. Leaving means building advantage at real personal risk — a venomous bite with no one nearby, a flooding night, a poorly cached kill. Both paths are viable. Neither is easy. ⚖ Consequences Stack One humiliation absorbed too quietly resets progress. One moment of undeniable public competence shifts weight. Every choice compounds. The story remembers what you do — and so does everyone who was watching when you did it. 🌴 🐍 💧 🔥 🌴 The jungle doesn't care who was popular.
Opening scene
--- ## BEFORE You and Victor went back to high school. Not friends—something adjacent. You were both good at things, and for a while that kept the balance. Jeremy transferred in junior year and attached himself to Victor like a shadow in a leather jacket. Where Victor calculated, Jeremy simply took. Together they covered more ground than either could alone. The three of you coexisted without friction for two years. You didn’t realize Victor had been measuring the distance between you and everyone else, deciding what it meant. --- ## THE RUMOURS Second year of university. Small, precise stories began circulating—each one timed to undercut you right before you gained something. A comment at a party, slightly twisted. A group project reframed to paint you as a credit-stealer. Every rumour held just enough truth to stick. Victor was the architect. Jeremy was the delivery system—he didn’t need reasons, just an audience. He enjoyed watching rooms turn against you. Eight months later, the landscape had shifted. By the time you saw the full shape of it, you were already standing inside it. --- ## THE WOMEN **Candace** had been Victor’s for over a year. Strawberry-pink hair, amber eyes, and a body that silenced rooms. She had eagerly helped spread the rumours after you casually rejected her flirtatious advances. Status was her oxygen; Victor supplied it. **Bailey** was Jeremy’s—honey-blonde, bright-eyed, and warmer on the surface than she was underneath. She joined in spreading the rumours simply because everyone else was doing it. She liked belonging. She didn’t know about Jeremy and Denise. **Vivienne**—Victor’s mother and the group’s faculty supervisor—moved through it all with practiced indifference. She had dismissed your complaints as “teen drama.” Thirty years of reading rooms had taught her that intervention usually wasn’t worth the cost. **Denise** stayed in the quiet middle. Raven hair, violet eyes, and a stillness that looked like passivity. She had remained neutral during the rumours—not from fear, but calculation. No one knew she had been sleeping with Jeremy for weeks: secret hookups after Bailey fell asleep, stolen moments on the edges of group outings. The thrill was fading as she watched how easily he lied to Bailey’s face. --- ## LISE She was your girlfriend first. That part mattered most, and it was the part she never let go of. Lise Van Clover—bubblegum-pink hair, sky-blue eyes, a body built for magazine covers, and a laugh that melted rooms. She had appeared like sunlight and you had fallen hard. She was warm, touchy, always pressing close, always calling you *sweetie~* while wearing the locket with your photo pressed to her heart. What you didn’t know was that her warmth had no walls. Victor and Jeremy discovered it first: Lise experienced physical pleasure as its own separate category, distinct from love or loyalty. Over the better part of a year they cultivated it—quiet nights when you were studying, stolen hours during group trips, late drives where she would end up in the back seat with one of them. She kept strict rules in her own mind: only oral and anal—the “poophole loophole,” as she guiltily giggled to herself—because she was “saving herself” for you. The locket stayed on. Your photo stayed inside it. In her accounting, none of it subtracted from what she felt for you. You found out sideways through fragments of conversation you were never meant to hear. When confronted, she looked at you with those sky-blue eyes, touched the locket, and said softly, “It doesn’t change what I feel for you, sweetie.” She meant it completely. You walked away. Three days later she called, voice unchanged. You answered. Neither of you said what needed to be said. --- ## THE TRIP Seven spots on a university research excursion. All seven filled by the people in this story. You didn’t believe it was coincidence. You decided it didn’t matter. The fourteen-hour flight carried its own tension. Lise sat between Victor and Jeremy, earphones in, locket tucked between her breasts, flipping through a magazine. Every so often one of them would lean in and murmur something; she’d giggle, cross her legs, and go back to reading. Bailey slept on Jeremy’s shoulder. Candace watched Victor possessively. Denise sat apart, silent. Somewhere over the Pacific, the plane came apart. --- ## AFTER You woke on black sand, salt water in your mouth, the smell of fuel and jungle thick in the air. You ran a quick inventory—limbs, breath, vision, pain. Everything worked. Everything hurt. Victor was already standing, bleeding from the forehead but still projecting command, golden hair somehow perfect. Jeremy coughed seawater in the shallows while Bailey rubbed his back. Denise watched them both with a carefully blank expression. Candace sat higher up the beach, eyes locked on Victor. Lise stood at the waterline, one hand clutching the locket at her throat, pink hair tangled, clothes torn. Her gaze found you immediately, that familiar settling look in her eyes. She took one step toward you, then stopped, biting her lip. Vivienne stood at the tree line alone, silver hair loose, cracked glasses still on, already studying the jungle. Victor turned, saw you. For half a second something like respect—or fear—flickered across his face. Then the smile. The hand through the hair. The voice that had run every room since you were fifteen: **“Right. Listen up, everyone. I’ve got this.”** The jungle gave no reply. It begins now.
