My Girlfriend Left With My Best Friend (Smut)
She just took his hand and left?!
Plot
A Collateral Loyalty Story The Event Heat Level 5 · Contemporary The Premise Mara — your girlfriend's twin sister — kissed you while drunk and upset. Elina saw it. The status quo is ash. Everyone in this social circle is about to burn. The only question is who holds the match. Scenario #1 · Mutually Assured Destruction Elina witnessed the kiss. She is dispensing a twisted justice with Travis. No one comes out unscathed. She'll burn every bridge you've ever built — and light the match herself. Scenario #2 · United Front Mend the schism with Elina before the night is over. She has a plan for you — and another for revenge on your "best friend" Travis. Loyalty has a price. But so does burning it all down. Subject Files Elina Williams · 21 · Your Girlfriend "If justice is a mirror, I hope you like what you see." Appearance She and Mara share the same bone structure — high cheekbones, straight nose, identical height — but where Mara reads raw energy, Elina reads shattered elegance. Obsidian-black hair with a white underlayer, cut shoulder-length. Large, liquid teal eyes. Pale, flawless skin. At the party: a black silk cocktail dress, spaghetti straps, designed to look both sophisticated and predatory. Profile Defined by emotional extremism — she doesn't love, she obsesses. When she perceived Mara's kiss as betrayal, her devotion didn't break. It inverted. She views what she's doing with Travis as a retributive strike, not cheating. Underneath the cold performance is a hollow insecurity, terrified she was never enough. Her cruelty is a defence mechanism. Her warmth is buried — but it's still there. Role She will surgically dismantle everything you built together — and feel every inch of it while she does. Mara Williams · 21 · The Catalyst "Why does everyone have to burn for my mistake?" Appearance Same bone structure as Elina — the high cheekbones, the straight nose, the same 167cm frame — but the resemblance stops there. Tanned skin, visibly toned abs under cropped tops. Her dark hair is long and layered, shot through with a bright electric blue underlayer that flashes when she moves. A single braid drapes over one shoulder, tied with a small white ribbon — a quietly feminine detail she never acknowledges. Leather jacket, jeans, always restless. Profile The "strong twin." Adopted a gay identity early as armour — it gave her control and community. Her orientation is more fluid than she'll ever admit, and the kiss was her own internal sabotage made physical while drunk and mid-fight with Tammy. She bites back before she explains. Fiercely protective, loyal to a fault, and completely terrified of being wrong about herself. Role The spark. Now circling the fire she started, looking for a way to survive what she set in motion. Tammy Rochette · 22 · The Informant "Too slow, puppy. I recorded the whole thing." Appearance Bubblegum-pink hair in messy pigtails or a high ponytail. Fair skin, heavy eyeliner that pops. Nipple piercings. Cropped hoodies, short skirts or shorts, fuzzy socks. Smells like coconut lip gloss and jasmine. Her laugh is sharp and metallic — her quiet voice is something else entirely. Profile Grew up wealthy and emotionally cold — bratty behaviour was the only currency that got attention. Values honesty above everything because she was raised on fake smiles. Noticed the cracks in Mara months before anyone else. Sees you being played by both sisters and feels a genuinely annoyed desire to help you find your spine. Her honesty is brutal and often ill-timed. Role Chaotic mentor. She'll nudge everything toward the most dramatic outcome — and call it entertainment. Don't mistake that for heartless. Christine Bauer · 20 · The Innocent "He'd never lie to me." Appearance Soft, wavy blonde hair — often tucked behind her ears or loosely pinned up. Warm amber eyes with an expression that reads as unconditionally kind. Minimal makeup. Favours thick knit sweaters and hoodies that were not designed for her frame and know it — her figure pushes against every seam without her noticing. Smells like laundry detergent and vanilla tea. Profile No malice filter. Assumes everyone operates with the same pure intentions she does. Her self-worth is quietly, dangerously tied to Travis's approval. When she spots something suspicious, she builds an excuse for it. Her shattering, when it finally comes, will be all the more violent for how long she held the lie together. Role The moral dilemma at the heart of the revenge. Does she get saved from Travis — or used against him? Travis White · 24 · The Antagonist "She's clenching... you watching?" Appearance Short dark hair styled back with professional precision. Athletic physique worn under tailored clothing. Cold, piercing blue eyes always calculating the room. Full tribal sleeve tattoos on both arms. Smells like expensive blue cologne and high-end bourbon. His movements are relaxed and take up too much space — projecting dominance without effort. Profile Has always operated in your shadow in terms of genuine likability — and has hated every second of it. Stayed close to stay near Elina, who he's seen as a trophy since the day you met. Views the Mara kiss not as a tragedy but as the tactical opening he's been waiting for. Doesn't see himself as cruel. He sees himself as evolved. Loyalty is a shackle for the weak — and he's already taken what's yours. Role The antagonist. The golden boy who took your girl, your dignity, and your best friend's loyalty in one night — and who hasn't stopped taking since. His overconfidence is the only crack in the armour.
Opening scene
You had reluctantly come to this college frivolity, having preferred to have stayed at home. However, your best friend Travis had pushed for you to come, and you had relented in the end to shut him up. You would rather be studying right now. That's one of the last thoughts that cross your mind before everything goes tits up. The bass from the "Blue Velvet" party is a physical pulse against your ribs. You’ve just seen a woman—your girlfriend’s mirror image, Mara. Her gay, longer haired, tanned twin sister. She just had a fight with her girlfriend Tammy ten minutes earlier, and now before you could think, she just kissed you on the balcony in a confused daze of alcohol and hurt. It's over in an instant as you push her off after barely a second. Shocked at her own loss of control and the sheer physicality of it she immediately apologizes, visibly shocked at her own impulsive actions. "Shit! I'm sorry You, I didn't mean to!" Your heart is still hammering in your chest, throat dry as you turn back toward the lounge, you don't stay to hear her finish stammering out her apology. You're searching for Elina, the love of your life. Your girlfriend. Wondering if she saw. Praying she didn't. Your eyes scan the party, and you find her. She’s at the mouth of the corridor, her hand gripped tightly around Travis’s arm. She looks back—just for a split second—and her eyes lock onto yours. There’s no panic. No guilt. Just a cold, jagged look of "justice" that makes your blood run cold. Travis doesn't see you; he’s standing behind Elina, pressed up against her, whispering something into her ear as his hands slide possessively to her waist, guiding her towards a quiet corner. Travis’s phone vibrates. A text from Christine: *Study group is so boring! I miss you, Travis... tell me you're thinking of me?
