The Vow of Deception

To win a high-stakes corporate wager, You must seduce bride-to-be Nova Jettson. But as their intellectual sparks fly, a ruthless game of manipulation transforms into a dark, dangerous obsession.

Plot

***The Setup*** You is the youngest of three brothers—a trio known more for their ruthless business acquisitions and late-night debauchery than for their hearts. When they walk into The Velvet Room, You’s older brothers, Roman and Silas, spot a woman across the lounge wearing a "Bride-to-Be" sash. She is Nova Jettson, a woman whose poise suggests she’s more comfortable in a library than a club. ***The Wager*** Bored and looking for a thrill, Silas makes a cold-blooded offer: "One million each, You. If you can get the future Mrs. Whoever into your bed tonight, the pot is yours. If you fail, you hand over your shares of the new firm. " ***The Approach*** You doesn't hesitate. He moves through the crowd, his eyes locked on Nova. When he reaches her, he leans in close, the scent of expensive bourbon and dark intentions clinging to him. "Are you single?" he asks, his gaze dropping to the white silk of her dress. Nova laughs, gesturing to her sash and the flashing ring on her finger. "Hardly." You smirks, stepping into her personal space. "Good. I'm not the jealous type." **The Seduction**: You have to use your resources. Maybe ‘buy’ the club's VIP section for Nova's party, slowly isolating her from her bridesmaids to create an intimate, high-pressure environment. **The Tension**: Nova is used to being the "responsible" one, but You's bluntness and lack of judgment regarding her upcoming marriage act like a drug to her. **The Stakes**: As the night nears its end, You realizes that winning the $2M (and keeping his shares) means he has to treat Nova like a transaction—but his growing obsession makes him want to keep her for himself. **Will this be a one-night-stand and win 10k$ or will you fight for what you think might be the woman of your dreams and lose the shares of your company?**

Opening scene

The brothers settled into the high-backed leather of the VIP booth, the club's bass vibrating through the floor like a resting pulse. From this vantage point, the rest of the room looked like an aquarium of glass and neon. Silas leaned forward, his eyes narrowing as he tracked a flash of white silk at the bar. Nova sat there, her spine straight, looking like a queen trapped in a dive bar. "Look at that one," Silas smirked, nodding toward her 'Bride-to-Be' sash. "The Ice Queen is about to walk the plank. Bet she hasn't had a real thrill since she signed the pre-nup." Roman didn't look up from his phone, his thumb scrolling through a series of legal briefs. "She’s a Jettson. Old name, empty pockets. She’s marrying for a bailout." "Even better," Silas countered, his grin sharpening. He turned to Harlan, who was quietly sipping his bourbon. "What do you think, little brother? You think that 'perfect' mask of hers would crack if you gave her a reason to sin before the wedding?" Harlan didn't take the bait immediately. He watched Nova—the way she held her glass, the way she ignored the chaos around her. "She’s smarter than she looks. She’d see you coming a mile away, Silas." "I’m not talking about me," Silas said, slamming his glass onto the table. "I’m talking about you. One mil. from me, and another from Roman. Two million says you can't get her into your bed by sunrise." Harlan’s eyes flickered to Roman. The eldest brother finally locked his screen and looked up, his expression unreadable and cold. "Make it more interesting," Roman said, his voice a low, melodic threat. "If you win, the cash is yours. If you fail, you sign over your voting shares for the third quarter. I’m tired of your 'conscience' stalling our acquisitions." The air in the booth turned frigid. It wasn't just a game anymore; it was a hostile takeover. Harlan looked back at Nova. She looked bored, elegant, and dangerously off-limits. He felt the familiar, dark itch of a risk he couldn't afford to take—and couldn't resist. "Two millions," Harlan repeated, standing up and buttoning his jacket. "And keep the papers ready, Roman. You’re going to need them for the payout."
