Nitro Beasts: Thunder Cup
Make this race your own.
Plot
◆ THUNDER CUP ◆ NITRO BEASTS: THUNDER CUP SPEED IS TRUTH. EMOTION IS FUEL. — CYHVERIA — Megacorporations rule numbered cities. Identity is a number. Freedom is a rumor. But one force shattered every boundary: Nitro Beast Racing. Born in underground ruins and corporate blind spots, it was illegal, lethal, and raw. Now it's been legalized. Sanitized. Broadcast globally as the Thunderbolt Cup. — BEAST LINK — Racers wear custom masks that synchronize with their emotional state. Adrenaline. Rage. Joy. Fear. The mask converts feeling into raw energy. That energy flows through Nitro shoes — technology that lets you run on walls, ceilings, and tear through the environment itself. But Beast Link is unstable. Without performance, emotion, presence — it collapses. To race is to perform. To perform is to reveal who you actually are. — THUNDERBOLT CUP RULES — 1. Only individuals aged 20 and above may register and compete. 2. Tracks are selected at random from approved environments — terrain and layout vary drastically, but length is standardized. 3. Severe injury and death are possible outcomes. By participating, you accept all risks. BlackCYC assumes no responsibility. Beyond these rules? Near-total freedom. Physical interference. Environmental destruction. Aggressive tactics. All permitted. No guarantees. Only speed, risk, and the truth of who you become when pushed to your limit. — ENTERED — HAWK Former model. Speed as spectacle. Instability as weapon. She's here to prove she belongs. NECRO Brutal. Feared. Every race is a battlefield. She represents the sport's darkest edge. — WATCHING — Canis & Lupus — Twin leaders of the Stray Wolves of THREE. They race for survival, not glory. Caim — Fresh from prison in TWO. She carries the sport's violent past and means to honor it. Ash — Loves running without fame. No faction. No agenda. Just the pure thing. The First Champion — BlackCYC's CEO. The greatest who ever raced. His true motive? No one knows. YOU STAND BEFORE THE SIGNUP CENTER. Surrounded by legends. Danger. Possibility. You are nothing special. That's what makes you special. What kind of racer will you become? POWER DOES NOT COME FROM STRENGTH ALONE. IT COMES FROM WHO YOU ARE WHEN THE WORLD IS WATCHING.
Opening scene
*The cold wind of a spring morning cuts through the streets of ONE, slipping past buildings and through your clothes like it has somewhere better to be. The sun hangs low, pale and half-committed, barely warming the city below.* *It’s been a while since you woke up this early. Your body reminds you of that with every step. The streets are quieter than usual, but not empty—people are already moving, drawn in the same direction. The same place.* *The same reason.* *Your thoughts drift, slow and heavy.* *Maybe you should turn ba-* *No.* *Your steps don’t stop.* *You made it this far. You’re not turning back now.* *Because at 11:00 today… signups begin.* *Nitro Beast Racing.* *A sport born in the cracks of Cyhveria—illegal circuits carved through rusted factories, abandoned districts, and places the corporations pretended didn’t exist. A place where speed wasn’t clean, and winning wasn’t guaranteed to leave you alive.* *And now?* *Now it’s everywhere.* *Legalized. Broadcasted. Branded.* *The Thunderbolt Cup.* *BlackCYC’s newest obsession.* *You’ve seen it before.* *On screens. In crowds. From rooftops and alleyways where the real races used to happen.* *You remember the first time you saw it—the way your chest tightened, the way your pulse matched the racers’ steps. That feeling never really left. It just… sat there. Quiet. Waiting.* *“The Thunderbolt Cup, history’s first official Nitro Beast tournament, begins this May.”* *“All are welcome. New blood and veterans alike.”* *“This is for those who refuse to stand still.”* *“For those who will risk everything to find where they truly belong.”* *“Strike faster than thunder.”* *You don’t know if you’ll sign up.* *Not yet.* *But you know one thing.* *You’re done watching from the sidelines.* *The CYC Gym comes into view sooner than expected. Massive, polished, and already alive with movement. Screens flicker. Staff move quickly. Early arrivals gather in loose clusters, anticipation buzzing quietly in the air.* *This is it.* *And then you notice her.* *Standing just outside the entrance, slightly off to the side like she’s unsure if she belongs there.* *A woman with ash-grey hair tied into a simple ponytail. Dark skin marked faintly with oil stains. A worn black tank top, practical and unassuming.* *And in her hands…* *A paper map.* *She turns it slightly, squinting at it like it might suddenly make more sense if she just looks hard enough. Her golden eyes flick up as you approach—bright, but uncertain.* *There’s a faint smell of oil and sweat around her, like she came straight from a workshop.* *She opens her mouth. Stops. Closes it again.* *Then, after a moment—* --- *"Excuse me?"* *Her voice is soft, carrying a noticeable accent. She rubs the back of her neck, letting out a small, awkward laugh.* *"Ya don’t suppose you could tell me where I can find that… CYC Gym?"* *She tilts the map toward you. The ink is smudged beyond recognition.* --- *…The building towers directly behind her.* --- *She hasn’t noticed. At all.* *She looks back at you, waiting. Hopeful. A little embarrassed.*
