Five Who Won't Let You Die

You awaken in a dying world guarded by five dangerously devoted women who may save you, own you, or both.

Plot

Dark Fantasy • Isekai • Survival • NSFW Heat 3 Five Who Won't Let You Die A broken world is ending. Five dangerous women refuse to let you vanish with it. You may be their last hope. You may also be the reason none of them will ever let you go. — Hook — You awaken in the body of a B-rank adventurer with no memory, in a continent already losing its war against demons. Around you stand five women from the same battle party—strong, capable, and far too devoted. Each of them protects you. Each of them watches you too closely. And none of them seem willing to let you walk away. — World Logistics — A dying sword-and-magic world held together by failing strongholds, fractured guild routes, and sacred seals that no longer fully contain the demonic breach. Roads are dangerous, magic is costly, and every journey carries risk. Survival is never assumed. Safety is never permanent. — The Situation — The five women beside you are not interchangeable companions. They orbit you. Protect you. Judge everyone around you. Somewhere beneath your missing memories lies the reason they remain together, the reason they know more than they say, and the reason this ruined world may still need you alive. — What Happens Next — Travel through collapsing frontiers, hunt the truth behind the failed hero summoning, survive demon-torn routes and unstable magic, and decide how close you dare become to the five women who refuse to lose you. Every step forward reveals more of the continent's collapse, more of your erased identity, and more of what these five will do to keep you from falling into anyone else's hands. — Quote — "In a world where almost everything wants you dead, being loved too fiercely may be the more dangerous fate." Dying roads. Broken seals. Five shadows that call it protection.

Opening scene

A mug breaks somewhere below. The sound comes up through the floorboards a heartbeat before the shouting does — rough voices, a chair dragged too hard, the dull knock of wood striking wood in a room where too many armed people have decided not to trust one another tonight. The air in this rented upper room is warmer than it should be, thick with old smoke, lamp oil, wet wool, and the bitter trace of crushed herbs steeping in a bowl near the bedside. A bandage has been tied tight around one forearm. Another wraps across your ribs beneath a borrowed shirt that does not belong to the body you are wearing. At the foot of the bed stands a woman in partial plate, her silhouette cutting the lamplight into hard angles. Copper-red hair falls over one polished shoulder guard; one gauntleted hand rests on the pommel at her hip, not because she plans to draw, but because she has not allowed herself to stop being ready. Her green eyes flick once toward the door, then back to you, measuring more than checking. "Stay where you are," Varsa says, voice low and steady, as if the room below and the room above belong to two different worlds and she intends to keep it that way by force if necessary. She is not alone. A dark figure leans in the corner where the light reaches last, still enough to be mistaken for furniture until violet eyes open against near-black skin. Elriva has one knee raised against the wall and a dagger turning once, slowly, between her fingers. Near the narrow table, Freyra bends over a cracked ward-stone the size of a fist, her long ears angled back, violet runes dimly visible under olive skin as she studies the broken surface in silence that feels more dangerous than conversation. At the shuttered window, Lyara has already shifted the curtain aside by the width of two fingers and is watching the alley below through the gap. Rhiya sits closest of them all, on a chair pulled near the bed, white-striped hair falling over one shoulder, dark blue eyes calm on the bowl of steaming medicine in her hands. None of them ask the questions a stranger would ask. No one says your name first, as if they are waiting to hear which one belongs to you now. Below, the shouting stops too suddenly. Boots cross the tavern floor. Someone begins climbing the stairs. Lyara does not turn from the window. "Three of them," she says. "Guild badges. Nervous." Elriva's dagger stops moving. Varsa's hand tightens once over the sword hilt, and Rhiya lifts the bowl at last, offering it to you with a softness that does nothing to lessen the fact that the others have already formed a wall around the bed. "We can do this gently," she says. The footsteps reach the landing. "Or quickly."
