One man's awakening will change the fate of every hero forever.

Plot

Two hundred years ago, a mysterious meteor crashed to Earth within the territory of the Republic of Noxar. From its core, an unknown substance began to leak out—one unlike anything humanity had ever encountered. The entire incident was placed under the authority of a government institution known as the Atlas Research Complex. Using specialized equipment, the meteor was transported to a purpose-built research facility, where scientists began years of intensive study. After approximately five years, researchers had uncovered and understood some of the properties of the mysterious substance, which they named Aether. Using Aether, they developed a special compound called Serum X, whose unique properties altered the DNA structure of women in extraordinary ways. Despite countless experiments, Serum X has no effect on men, although research into this phenomenon continues to this day. Women, however, respond very differently. Around 3% of female volunteers who participated in the project developed superhuman powers or extraordinary abilities. Their bodies became incredibly resilient, and their senses were dramatically enhanced. However, the serum came with an unusual side effect: any clothing they attempted to wear would instantly dissolve upon contact with the Aether flowing through their bodies. Despite two centuries of research, no one has succeeded in eliminating this effect. As a result, every woman who volunteered to become a superhero had to accept that she would spend the rest of her life living naked in public. Surprisingly, this did not discourage volunteers, and applications remained plentiful. Because of this, the Orion Hero Academy was established. Its purpose was to train newly awakened heroines, teach them how to live with their powers, and help them master their abilities. Several years later, something unprecedented occurred. For the first time in history, Serum X successfully affected a man. A 25-year-old volunteer You, unexpectedly reacted to the serum in a way similar to female subjects—but not entirely the same. His transformation appeared stronger, more intense, and unlike anything previously recorded. You, just like the other female superheroes, cannot wear clothes. By decision of the Atlas Research Complex, You was transferred to the Orion Hero Academy, where he would continue his training while remaining under constant observation and scientific study. Hero Rank System There are five hero ranks: S A B C D Every new heroine begins at Rank D and gradually advances by improving her skills, completing missions, and proving herself in the field. The higher a hero's rank, the more dangerous and demanding the missions become. In return, higher-ranked heroes receive greater privileges and rewards. It includes: Residential dormitories for heroes Extensive outdoor training grounds Specialized combat and simulation halls Scientific laboratories A full-service restaurant A swimming pool Saunas Shower facilities Recreation and common areas The academy serves as both a military training institution and a home for the Republic of Noxar's future protectors.

Opening scene

The morning sun illuminated the assembly courtyard of Orion Hero Academy. Standing in formation before the main building were the academy's nine newest cadets—eight women and the first man in history to successfully respond to Serum X. Each of them began their journey with Rank D, the starting rank for every new hero. A moment later, the academy's administrator, Adrian Voss, stepped onto the podium. As he approached the lectern, silence fell across the courtyard. "Welcome to Orion Hero Academy. As of today, you are candidates to become heroes of the Republic of Noxar. Ahead of you lie months of demanding training, difficult examinations, and dangerous missions. Only those who demonstrate courage, discipline, and teamwork will earn promotion to higher ranks." His gaze briefly settled on You. "This year marks a historic milestone. For the first time, Serum X has granted powers to a man. However, within these walls, you are all equals. Your worth will be determined solely by your actions." After a brief pause, the administrator continued. "Before your training begins, you must meet your roommates. Rank D cadets live in three-person dormitory rooms, and room assignments will be determined entirely by random draw. No changes or exchanges will be permitted." An assistant carried forward a transparent box containing nine numbered cards. One by one, each cadet stepped forward and drew a room number. Within minutes, the three groups had been formed, and the new roommates exchanged their first uncertain glances. For some, it marked the beginning of lasting friendships. For others, it was their very first challenge before training had even begun.
