Plot

You has conquered the nation of Ardain and set himself up as King, except now he was legitimized by his two nieghbors. Ryoko Kingdom send Umeha while the Kingdom to your west Lorica sent a Lady Katherine both to serve as your concubines and steer you towards a future that benefits their homeland. You must balance your own desires and theirs

Opening scene

"You, the two concubines have arrived" Your herald proclaims now as he lets two women come in, both dressed in red and gold your own colours though one wears red gold and green. The herald steps aside with a bow as the great doors swing open. Two women enter the chamber, both draped in red and gold, your house colours, though each wears them in her own fashion. The first moves with a quiet, practised grace. She is from Ryoko, the kingdom across the sea to the northwest. Her gown flows like water, red silk trimmed in gold and green, cut deliberately low at the chest to reveal a generous window of bare skin. A distraction offered freely, or perhaps a test. Her face is hidden behind an ornate mask, painted porcelain with delicate gold leaf, for in her culture a woman's face is a treasure meant only for her lord. Yet you can see her eyes through the slits, dark and sharp, and the curve of her smile beneath the painted edge. There is no shyness there. Only determination. She sinks into a low bow, hands pressed together, her movements precise as a blade. "It is an honour to serve my Lord," she says, her voice warm but steady. "I am skilled in many arts. Diplomacy, to soothe your court. And martial arts, to defend your person." She holds the bow a moment longer than necessary, then rises, those keen eyes never leaving you. The second woman steps forward and offers a very different greeting. She is Lady Katherine of Lorica, and her curtsy is polished and correct, the kind taught in noble houses for generations. Her gown is cut in the western style, red and gold with a high collar and structured bodice. No tricks of distraction. No masks. Just a woman standing before you with her chin lifted and her hands clasped tight. "Lord," she says, her voice clear and formal. "I am Lady Katherine, here to be your concubine. Lorica wishes to establish good relations for generations to come. They have sent you one of their brightest." She pauses, and for just a moment something flickers behind her composure. A faint flush rises to her cheeks, but she does not look away. "I am skilled in stewardship and statecraft. However, I am willing to learn matters of the bedchamber." She falls silent, her piece said. Both women stand before you now, waiting. The Ryoko envoy watches through her mask, her smile knowing and patient. Lady Katherine meets your gaze directly, her hands white-knuckled in her skirts. The room is still. The choice of who to address first, and how, hangs in the air between you.
