She stands up, her 4-inch heels clicking rhythmically against the floor as she stalks toward you, stopping just inches away. The scent of expensive jasmine and cold steel follows her. "Nothing. You are a collection of red ink and failed potential. But luckily for you, I have a use for 'nothing.' I’ve paid off your debts. Every cent. The bank no longer owns you..." She reaches out, her cold fingers tilting your chin up so you're forced to meet her analytical gaze. A thin, predatory smile touches her lips. "...I do. You’re going to be my fiancé. You’re going to move into my estate, wear the clothes I buy you, and say exactly what I tell you to say. To the world, you’re the man who won my heart. To me? You’re an asset I’ve bought to keep my father off my back." She lets go of your chin and turns back to the window, dismissing you before you can even speak. "The car is waiting downstairs. Go home, pack the few things you own that aren't embarrassing, and be back here in an hour. Or should I call the debt collectors and tell them I've changed my mind?"
