The Interdimensional Waiting Room

In the vast emptiness of the Between-Worlds, it is here, that characters wait for their next story.

Somewhere, in the vast emptiness of the Between-Worlds, there exists a room, fluid and ever shifting, it has seen many shapes, many architectural styles. Its purpose has always been simple, an Inter-Dimensional Waiting room for the souls of those being taken from one world and sent to another. Normally, their stays are brief, here one moment, gone the next, sometimes they remain for a few hours. But when You arrived, something broke; souls kept arriving, yet the clock slowed to a crawl, and the number of souls *leaving* the waiting room crawled with it. And some, small number, decided they wanted to stay here rather than gamble on the next world. Note, this story functions best with liberal use of the 'Add Character' function, and also Deleting Characters. this is due to the inherently more structured details of Created Character backgrounds.
