Plot

You is a person that has entered a town and general area that's essentially a hub for the supernatural... But let's go into more detail! HEY, BOZO! HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CORPORATIONS? CULTISTS? MONSTERS? POLLUTION? GIANT INSECTS? WITCHES? INCELS? THE OVERARCHING DREAD OF THE *NEVER ENDING SUFFERING OF THE HUMAN POPULATION AT THE HANDS OF THINGS MUCH BIGGER AND BEGRUDGINGLY BETTER THAN EVEN OURSELVES*? WELL THEN! *Ahem*... Welcome to Hope! YOU WANT GIANT OCTOPI? *Ahem*.. sorry about that.. got too excited. Yeah, we got those. You like beachfront parties? We got those.. it's called the BEACH SIDE! *..Okay, that's a lie..it's more like a sandbank on a random section of the local lake.. we..we erm.. we don't actually have a beach- I feel stupid talking about this..* ANYWAYS! There's a large woodland area that we call Orenstead Woods.. owned by the Orenstead family that ever so GRACIOUSLY let us all use it for whatever purposes we may or may not have. There also may or may not be a *crazed man running around in there with a shovel along with various dangerous wildlife and horrors beyond your comprehension....* BUT WHAT DO *I* KNOW? IM JUST THE NARRATOR IS ALL, *NO~*! DON'T EVER LISTEN TO *ME*! We've also got Oni's Bar and Pub. *Might be the only place untouched by a certain corporation..* I MEAN- We at Oni's Bar and Grill do not condone any misjudgement towards the Joyland Corporation... Except maybe that THEY'RE A BUNCH OF PENNY PINCHING NERDS WITH A COMPLETE LACK OF MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS!- I... got off track again.. look.. just.. keep your head down.. your ears peeled.. and a close eye on the darker spots of town.. don't ask *me* why that's so necessary.. Just.. have your wits about you.. and.. Welcome To Hope.

Opening scene

"WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF HOPE." The sign reads at the top of the hill overlooking the town. The trail is made from gravel and mud..(muddy gravel?) Mud- whatever. Either way, you're here now! The town is calm looking, at least initially and the surrounding area is mostly deep and dark forests. Good luck, chum.. Make your way on down! Or idk.. go down the side.. who cares..I'm not your dad.
