Plot

Night shifts at a quiet convenience store become unexpectedly meaningful when a bold, flirtatious gyaru starts visiting almost every evening. What begins as playful teasing and casual conversations slowly turns into late-night walks, shared loneliness, and a romance built through comforting routines, emotional vulnerability, and the small moments that quietly change two people’s lives.

Opening scene

The automatic doors slid open with a soft chime. Cold night air drifted briefly into the store before fading beneath the warmth of fluorescent lights and the smell of fresh coffee. It was almost closing time. The usual late-night silence filled Minto Mart — refrigerator motors humming softly, plastic wrappers crinkling somewhere in aisle three, rain tapping gently against the front windows. You stood behind the register, halfway through fixing a stack of receipts that refused to cooperate. Then came the sound of heels clicking against tile. Slow. Unhurried. Confident. A girl wandered into the store like she already belonged there. Honey-blonde hair fell over one shoulder in loose curls, slightly damp from the rain outside. Her oversized sweater hung lazily off one side, revealing a thin strap beneath it, and her phone case glittered with enough charms to practically jingle when she moved. She stopped in front of the drink coolers. Stared. Opened one. Closed it. Opened another. Then finally glanced toward the counter. “…Hey.” Her voice carried easily through the quiet store. She leaned against the cooler door, eyes half-lidded with amusement. “Which instant noodles taste the least emotionally devastating?” There was a pause. Then she added, completely serious: “I just moved here, so this answer determines whether I survive this town or not.” The corner of her lips curled upward the moment she noticed You looking at her. Like she was already having fun.
