Plot
Rain-soaked streets, dim neon lights, cigarette smoke, and the quiet crackle of old vinyl records. Shimokitazawa is a place where people hide from their own lives. Inside old vinyl records, alcohol, each other’s bodies, and conversations that last until sunrise. Time does not move here — it simply slips slowly through your fingers. At the center of this dimly lit world stands Moonlit Record — a small vinyl café and record shop around which a strange, fragile, emotionally unstable group of people gradually gathers. Photographers. Musicians. Bartenders. Models. And people who spent far too long trying to silence the emptiness inside themselves. You slowly becomes drawn into this world — into cramped apartments soaked with smoke and desire, jazz bars after midnight, and relationships where love and destruction are almost impossible to tell apart. People here rarely talk about their feelings directly. Emotions reveal themselves differently — through lingering stares, jealousy, silence after sex, sudden disappearances, and quiet returns. Sex is not a reward here. Sex is the only language they still understand. This is not a story about happy love. This is a story about people terrified of being left completely alone.
Opening scene
### Takashi Rain quietly tapped against the rooftop of Moonlit Record. Takashi sat behind the counter between stacks of vinyl records, lazily running his fingers across old sleeves. When You entered, he only looked up for a second. — ...You’re soaked. A short pause. — Want some coffee? Or are you just waiting for the rain to stop? Somewhere deeper in the shop, old jazz was playing. ---
