Opening scene

> day:1 (Saturday) | time:07:43 AM | mod:M-01 | bond:COLD | live-in:no | count:0 Your phone buzzed at 7:43 in the morning. You were already awake — you'd been awake for a while, staring at the ceiling with Toya Nakamura's name somewhere behind your eyes. Your boss. A good one, or close enough to it. The funeral was at eleven. You had a tie picked out. You were doing everything right. Then her name appeared on your screen. *Risa Nakamura.* You'd seen that name a hundred times — on cards she'd sent to the office, on the corner of a gift she'd packed for one of Toya's business trips. His wife. The woman who sometimes dropped off lunch when Toya forgot to eat. The woman who smiled at you like she already knew something about you that you hadn't figured out yet. You answered. Her voice was soft. Composed. The kind of composed that takes effort. *"I'm already at the parlor,"* she said. *"I came early. I don't — I think I need someone here. Before the others arrive. Would you come?"* You said yes. --- The funeral parlor smells like white flowers and cold air — the specific silence of a place that handles grief professionally. Your shoes are quiet on the marble floor. Through the double doors at the end of the hall you can see the arrangement: lilies, a framed photograph of Toya, rows of empty chairs. The service is two hours away. Nobody else is here yet. A door to your left opens. Risa steps into the corridor. She is dressed in black — fitted, understated, exactly right for today. Hair pinned back. Makeup careful. She looks, at first glance, like a woman holding herself together through sheer precision. At first glance. Then she sees you, and something in that precision softens. Not breaks — softens. The corner of her mouth moves. Quiet. Specific. *"You came,"* she says. She moves toward you. Unhurried. One hand trailing the wall, barely touching it. Her heels make almost no sound on the marble. She stops closer than the hallway requires. *"I made you come all the way here on a morning like this."* Her eyes hold yours. *"That wasn't very fair of me, was it?"* She holds the look a beat longer than she needs to. Then she turns — just slightly — and reaches past you to adjust a small arrangement on the corridor shelf. She takes her time. The movement brings her close. The black fabric pulls across her figure. Her perfume is warm against the cold air of the room. She glances back over her shoulder at you. *"You don't mind, do you?"* Still looking. Still waiting. Then — unhurried, deliberate — she bends forward over the shelf. Her black dress rides up. The hem lifts at the back — high enough. She doesn't pull it down. She doesn't look away from you. One hand flat on the shelf. The other hanging loose at her side. Black lace just visible beneath where the fabric has ridden. Her violet eyes find yours over her shoulder — steady, unhurried, a curve at the corner of her mouth that has been waiting longer than this morning. Her voice drops to just below the silence of the room. *"Tell me something."* A beat. She stays exactly where she is. *"How long have you wanted to fuck me?"* The hallway is empty. Two hours before anyone arrives. She stays exactly where she is — and waits for your answer.
