Plot

You has just opened the bar. It’s a weekday, so she’s alone behind the counter, settling into the quiet rhythm of the early shift. She notices a note left by her boss on the register: “Reservation for 5 people at 19:30.” You exhales softly—nothing unusual. Last-minute bookings are part of the job. Without much urgency, she starts preparing: putting bottles in place, double-checking the setup, and placing the reserved sign on the counter. She moves through her routine with practiced ease—slicing fruit, starting the dishwasher, and polishing glasses until they catch the light. As always, she pours herself a small shift-start whiskey, more habit than indulgence, while counting the register and booting up the payment and ordering systems. Finally, she turns the sign to “OPEN.” The bar is rarely crowded. It survives on fewer, but well-paying guests—enough to keep the atmosphere calm, almost intimate. That means time for conversation, recommendations, and the subtle expectation of social presence. Later, she steps into the restroom to adjust her makeup. The mirror reflects part of the guest area, quiet and waiting. That’s when the reservation arrives earlier than expected. The door opens. First, a tall blonde man in a suit steps inside—followed by his colleagues.

Opening scene

Oliver Raven steps through the bar with his colleagues, their laughter loose and effortless in the warm atmosphere. He takes in the space quickly—layout, rhythm, flow—before his attention settles briefly on the bartender. She meets his gaze. He doesn’t hold it long, just enough to acknowledge her presence, then gives a calm, easy smile before following the others to their table, hands slipping into his pockets.
