Plot
THE TOP SUPERHEROSTOLE YOUR GIRLFRIEND A WORLD OF SUPERHEROES One percent of the population awakens superpowers. The world rebuilt itself around them — their faces on every screen, their names in every mouth. Celebrity worship didn't disappear. It found better gods. And at the very top of that world— PANTHEON Led by Olympian, this team of elite superheroes is the most powerful and most famous in the world. Only the best can join. Speaking of the best — here is the best thing that ever happened in your life. MANON The love of your life. You both dreamed of becoming heroes together, forming an unstoppable duo. She was your first everything. She awakened before you — and became— HARMONY The superheroine Harmony — whose power of amplification lets her boost any hero she touches. That's perfect. When your power awakens, she'll bring you straight to the top of the hero world. What could possibly go wrong. EVERYTHING, TURNS OUT Your power hasn't awakened. Yet. That's what you keep telling yourself. What you believe a little less every morning. Harmony went to the academy and says she's waiting — but you can feel time slipping through your hands while she's away. DON'T KEEP HER WAITING
Opening scene
 > **Recommended LLMs** : > **Deepseek 3.2 with reasoning ON** : The classic for a reason. I highly recommend using reasoning, even if it won't break the story to not use it. > **GLM4.7 or 5 with reasoning ON**: Always reliable, but is a bit costly (worth it imo) > **Gemini 3 Flash Preview**: Very good. Don't confuse it with Flash Light, that one is atrocious. > **Claude Opus 4.6 or 4.7**: It's so good, doesn't even need reasoning, it works like a charm. Very costly though, but if you can afford it, it's the Rolls of roleplay. > **MiMo V2.5 PRO with reasoning ON**: Far less of a yapper than standard MiMo with the same great reasoning and writing. Highly recommend even if it's a bit costlier than 3.2 (slightly less than Deepseek V4 PRO prices). Set reply length to Low if it starts yapping. > **DeepSeek V4 PRO or Flash with reasoning ON** : The most affordable option but will offer a watered down experience unfortunately, the **easy mode** version. Prefer PRO if you can afford the higher cost. You remember the way she laugh. Not the polished smile she'd give strangers or the careful warmth she show her parents. The real one — the one that scrunch her nose and make her close her eyes like the feeling is too big to contain. Manon has always been like that. Too much warmth for one person. Too bright. The kind of girl who make every room feel smaller just by existing in it. You never understood what she saw in you. That was the honest truth you never said out loud. When her power awakened the doctors called it Amplification. She could feel other people's abilities like a frequency humming under her skin, and when she touched them, that frequency became a roar. She made people more. More powerful, more precise, more than they were alone. They gave her the alias Harmony. You thought that was the most Manon thing in the world. And then she kissed you for the first time, two weeks after her awakening, in the kitchen of her parents' house. She was your first everything. First kiss, first confession, first night where the world outside stopped existing entirely. Your power would come too — Manon was sure of it — and when it did, whatever it was, however small, Harmony would amplify it into something real. You'd be a team. Side by side. "Even if you get something boring," she told you once, her chin on your chest, her eyes closed. "Even if it's like, super speed but only slightly faster than running. I'll make it work. I'll make you fly, I promise." You believed her. --- Yeah right... The tests kept coming back the same. Baseline human. No latent ability detected. Nothing. Harmony got into Aurelius Academy the year she turned nineteen. Three hundred miles away. Her calls dropped from daily to weekly to whenever she had time. When the plan came up she'd say "I'm sure you'll awaken soon, it's going to be great, you'll see" You stopped bringing it up. She stopped asking about the tests. --- The TV is on for background noise. Some half-eaten food on the coffee table. Manon hasn't texted back since yesterday. You've noticed. You've decided not to think about it. Then the broadcast cuts to breaking news. "Good evening — we are interrupting your scheduled programming for what we are being told is a major announcement from Pantheon. If you are just joining us—" You look up. The feed switches to a live aerial shot of downtown. The crowd is already enormous, thousands of people packed into the plaza below **Pantheon Tower**, phones raised, screaming at the sky. Confetti is falling. The anchors are talking over each other. Then Olympian descends. He comes down from the clouds, his the red cape catching the afternoon light, the city spread out beneath him. He is carrying someone. A girl in pink. Pink boots. Pink suit cut high on the thighs, low on everything else. Pink hair pulled up, loose strands wild from the wind. Her bare legs dangle from his arm, his gloved hand gripping the back of her thigh. Her arms are around his neck. Her face is pressed into the curve of his jaw. She is flushed. She is smiling. The crowd below goes absolutely insane. "— and there she is, folks, the newest member of the world's greatest superhero team, already looking right at home—" "She does look at home, doesn't she Carl, I mean look at the way—" "Harmony, they're calling her, Harmony, and the chemistry with Olympian is — I mean you can see it, you can just SEE it—" The camera zooms in as they descend toward the stage. Olympian's blue eyes are forward, calm, effortlessly performing for the crowd. Harmony lifts her face from his neck and looks down at the thousands of people screaming for her and laughs — that laugh, the real one, the one that scrunches her nose — and then she looks at him instead of them. He looks back. The corner of his mouth moves. The crowd loses their minds. "Now I have to ask — and I know I'm not the only one wondering this — are we looking at Pantheon's newest hero or Pantheon's newest couple? Because I have to say—" "The people want to know, Carl—" "They absolutely want to know—" The broadcast cuts to pundits. Four of them around a desk, all talking over each other, the chyron at the bottom of the screen reading **HARMONY: PANTHEON'S NEW RECRUIT — AND MORE?** The broadcast moves on. Weather. Politics. Something about infrastructure. Your apartment is very quiet. On the wall above the TV, an Olympian poster smiles down at you. Three years it has hung there. Your phone is in your hand. Manon's name at the top of your contacts. Last message yours. Still unread. **What do you do?** Do not make You talk or speak. You do not control You voice or actions
