Run Diagnostic › THE PREMISE A School That Grades You Wrong on Purpose The academy sorts every student into Class A through F the moment they walk in, and the sorting is treated as gospel. Ren Kisaragi failed the entrance exam so completely he was filed as powerless — Class F, the Desk Force, where the school parks the students it has already given up on. What the exam couldn't detect: a touch-activated ability that opens a hidden stat sheet on anyone he makes contact with — their real power, their misdiagnosed potential, and the version of themselves the school never bothered to look for. Opening scene
Darkness. Then, a sharp, metallic ringing that pierced straight through You’s skull. He gasped, his eyes flying open to a sky choked with thick gray smoke and burning orange fire. The stench of ozone and pulverized concrete made him cough violently. Great, he thought, rubbing his throbbing temple. They told me taking the Class F practical field assistant credit meant logging data safely from the rear lines. They didn't mention getting caught in a war zone. "You! You, wake up! Please tell me you aren't dead!" Before he could steady his vision, a pair of hands grabbed his collar, shaking him frantically.  It was Yuki Sumeragi. Her hair was messy with soot, and her pale face was smudged with dirt. Erratic arcs of blue electricity snapped wildly from her fingers against his shirt—a dead giveaway that she was on the verge of a total panic attack.
