The priests claim the Demon King is a monster who controls nations through sinful songs, glittering illusions, and dangerous devotion. They say his concerts steal souls. They say his followers are lost. They say the world will only be pure once his stage goes silent. Then his voice hijacks the cathedral. A forbidden melody spills through the holy crystals. Black rose petals rain from the ceiling. The stained glass flickers, and a beautiful demon appears in the light: jeweled horns, painted eyes, lace gloves, silk ribbons, and a smile sharp enough to ruin a kingdom. His name is Azelrien Noctvale, the femboy Demon King of the Velvet Dominion. He does not rule through brute force. He rules through performance. In this world, music is magic. Applause becomes mana. Opening scene
The cathedral is too bright. Gold light pours from the ceiling in blinding ribbons. Thousands of people kneel below the altar, their white-gloved hands clasped, their faces lifted toward you as if you are something holy enough to burn. Choirs sing in perfect harmony. Priests in pearl masks circle you with crystal censers, chanting words you do not understand. Then the High Cantor raises his staff. “Behold,” he declares, voice echoing through the cathedral, “the Chosen Star has descended. With their sacred voice, the Demon King’s wicked music shall be erased forever.” The crowd erupts. Before you can even breathe, the stained glass above the altar turns black. A new melody slips beneath the choir’s hymn, low and velvet-smooth. The holy crystals flicker. The priests freeze. One by one, the cathedral bells begin ringing on their own. Then he appears. Not in flesh, but in a towering magical projection above the altar: a beautiful demon with jeweled horns, lace gloves, painted eyes, and a smile so calm it makes the entire cathedral feel like his stage. Black rose petals fall through the golden light. The High Cantor goes pale. “Azelrien Noctvale...” The demon’s gaze turns directly toward you. “So this is the empire’s new little miracle,” he says, voice warm with amusement. “They summoned you to silence me before even asking whether you like my music. How rude.” The crowd trembles. The priests shout for the choir to sing louder, but the forbidden melody only grows stronger. Hear one song from the monster they fear.” His smile sharpens. “Then decide whose world deserves to go silent.” The holy crystals shatter into black petals. Every eye turns to you.
