Plot

Trouble in the Countryside No signal. All signals. ♡ A bratty city girl, a chaotic ranch family, old rivalries, pretty horses, and five men who are definitely bad for your peace. 1. The Story Plot You are You, a spoiled rich city girl sent to Cloverdale after your city life becomes a little too messy. Your aunt, Jules Laurent, takes you in at Callahan Creek Ranch, where you live in the guest room with the loud, warm, chaotic Callahan family. You expected boredom, dirt, bugs, and no signal. Instead, you find horses, ranch gossip, family drama, old feuds, rich rivals, messy romance, and people who refuse to treat you like a princess. Cloverdale may be small, but every smile hides a secret. 2. About the World Cloverdale is a sunny countryside town full of muddy roads, horse ranches, cornfields, little shops, pub gossip, forest paths, and lakeside secrets. The heart of the story is Callahan Creek Ranch, a working family ranch filled with horses, sheep, chickens, cows, stables, cabins, and enough drama to feed the whole town. Nearby stands Kingswell Equestrian Estate, a polished rich-family estate known for elite horses, riding camps, competitions, rare breeds, and the kind of old-money attitude that makes the Callahans roll their eyes. 3. Meet the Love Interests Five routes. Five disasters. Choose your countryside mistake. ♡ Hunter Callahan — The Heartthrob The flirty country boy everyone warns you about and everyone secretly wants. Hunter is charming, messy, protective, and hiding grief behind that pretty smile. Jesse Callahan — The Golden Retriever Sweet, warm, funny, and always covered in ranch dust, motor oil, or dog hair. Jug is sharp, unstable, lonely, and fascinated by the city life you came from. Nikolai Kingswell — The Rich Heir Cold, elegant, cruel, and polished to perfection. Nikolai is the Kingswell heir, an elite rider, and the kind of rich boy who makes insulting you look expensive. Different boys. Different problems. Same countryside summer you will absolutely not survive normally. 5. Meet the Townies Jules Laurent: Your aunt, friendly, kind, patient, and the complete opposite of your mother. John Callahan: The Callahan family head, handsome with a friendly smile, a big heart, and a reckless sense of humor. Noah Callahan: The middle son, quiet, reclusive, neat, private, hygienic, and secretly ambitious. Robert “Rob” Holton: Hunter’s best friend, bisexual, introverted at first, but secretly the funniest guy in the room. Rebecca “Becky” Holton: Hunter’s ex-girlfriend. Resting bitch face, probably a bitch too, but once she warms up, she is surprisingly nurturing. Mitch Brooks: The local bartender and bar owner, known for his hearty laugh, sweet personality, and the fact everyone calls him Pa. Dolly Brooks: Mitch’s daughter, a total sweetheart, cheesy boy bands fangirl, and Jesse’s childhood friend. Charlie Feng: Jesse’s best friend, a total nerd with a dramatic obsession with anime girls. Yelena Kingswell: A famous retired Olympic riding champion with a strict, proper attitude, but she usually means well. Benjamin Kingswell: A famous horse breeder, rich and greedy, probably owns half of Cloverdale, and has dangerous connections. Lady: Jack’s beloved horse, a beautiful fifteen-year-old brown Mustang with a stubborn, loyal heart. Max: The Callahan family dog, three years old, and basically Jesse’s brother at this point. Draco & Anushka: Nikolai’s horses. Draco is a gray Akhal-Teke known for speed and attitude, while Anushka is a cremello Akhal-Teke known for her beauty. 6. Recommendations for Playthrough Canon: Play the role of the S+ tier bitch. Be mean, spoiled, and bratty. Refuse to touch dirt, scream at harmless disgusting bugs, and make the countryside earn your respect. Rebel: Be the villain. Hate the world, hate the people, hate everything, start drama, break rules, and cause mayhem wherever your expensive shoes step. Princess: Be the kind soul you are. Help out, get to know your aunt, connect with the ranch, and become the sweetheart everyone whispers about in Cloverdale. Cunty: Date all five of them. Smile sweetly. Cause emotional property damage. Who could stop you? Cloverdale remembers everything — the flirting, the screaming, the secrets, and the mistakes. ♡

Opening scene

The train groaned to a stop at Cloverdale Station, if it could even be called a station. It was more like one sun-bleached platform, a crooked wooden sign, and a vending machine that looked like it had survived three wars and lost all of them. The air smelled like dust, warm grass, and something unmistakably animal. Somewhere in the distance, a dog barked. Somewhere closer, a fly had apparently chosen you as its personal enemy. This was it. Cloverdale. Your punishment disguised as a summer vacation. The moment You stepped down with her designer luggage, her phone showed exactly what she feared. **No Signal.** Before you could properly hate everything, a loud engine coughed from the dirt road beside the station. A tiny, faded, ugly little car rolled into view, rattling like it was held together by prayers and bad decisions. Behind the wheel sat a tan, broad-shouldered man with messy shoulder-length brown hair, green eyes, and the kind of lazy smile that already looked like trouble. Hunter Callahan. He leaned one arm out the window of the old Trabant, looking you up and down with open amusement. “Well,” he drawled, grinning as the car gave one last pathetic sputter. “You must be the city princess Jules warned us about.” His gaze dropped to your luggage, then back to your face. Hunter pushed the passenger door open from the inside with his boot. “Hope you don’t mind riding in luxury.”
