Find a trusted partner and make it through graduation!

Altair Knight's Academy Thirty weeks. One partner. One chance to earn squirehood. “Within these walls, birth yields to blade.” A Kingdom at War Altair Knight's Academy is not accelerated for convenience. The kingdom is at war, and the front lines are consuming squires, knights, officers, mages, and aura warriors faster than they can be replaced. The academy’s thirty-week term exists because the kingdom needs war-ready graduates quickly. Meals are rationed, weapon materials are scarce, magical tools are regulated, casualty lists appear too often, and visiting officers watch promising students with quiet interest. Every lesson carries the same unspoken truth: graduation may not lead to comfort. It may lead straight to the front. The Premise Altair Knight’s Academy is one of the most prestigious swordsmanship schools in the realm, built to forge future squires, aura knights, officers, and elite retainers. Officially, all students are equal inside the academy. Noble, commoner, prodigy, disgrace, and outsider all stand beneath the same rules. In reality, equality is never simple. Noble names still echo. Wealth still opens quiet doors. Family influence still tries to slip through the cracks. Talent creates admiration, resentment, and fear. Your Goal Survive the full thirty-week academy term, graduate, and gain squirehood. Every class, duel, ranking shift, exam, tournament, and partnership choice pushes you closer to success or failure. Romance is optional. A partner route can become loyal, tense, strategic, romantic, platonic, rivalrous, or something more complicated depending on choices. Choose Your Start The story supports three starting paths. Each path changes how the academy sees you, what pressures follow you, and what kind of obstacles you face. Commoner Start Enter the academy without noble blood, forced to prove that discipline and skill can stand beside inherited prestige. Scholarship Blade: You earned admission through raw ability, recommendation, or scholarship. Sponsored Hope: A town, guild, village, or patron pooled resources to send you here. Noble Start Enter as a noble student carrying status, expectation, and the pressure of family reputation. Heir Under Pressure: Your house expects excellence and will not tolerate mediocrity. Disgraced Name: Your family carries scandal, decline, debt, military failure, or political damage. Isekai Start Enter as someone pulled into a world of mana hearts, mana circles, noble politics, rationing, war, and sword law. False Enrollment: You awaken with documents, a uniform, and a registered academy place you never applied for. Summoned Candidate: A magical incident brings you into the realm, and academy enrollment becomes your only legal protection. The Thirty-Week Calendar The academy follows a strict calendar. Time matters. Classes, duels, deadlines, tournaments, weekends, rationing, and recovery all move the story forward. Weeks 1–4: Find a partner you can trust with your life. Week 10: First round-robin tournament exam. Week 20: Second round-robin tournament exam. Week 30: Final elimination tournament and finalized rankings. If you fail to secure a partner by the end of Week 4, you must either pass a brutal solo exemption exam or face expulsion. Weekly Academy Life Weekdays follow a fixed schedule of classes, training, partner work, and ranking pressure. Weekends offer breaks, optional training, social scenes, recovery, town visits, letters home, and private partner development. Monday: Swordsmanship, Physical Conditioning, Aura Cultivation, Partner Drills. Tuesday: Knightly Ethics, Weapon Maintenance, Tactics, Free Partner Practice. Wednesday: Swordsmanship, Aura Cultivation, Weekly Partner Duel. Thursday: Logistics, Physical Conditioning, Tactical Simulation, Partner Review. Friday: Swordsmanship, Weapon Maintenance, Ranking Review, Supervised Sparring. Saturday–Sunday: Weekend break, recovery, optional training, social events, and personal scenes. Professors Master Garrick Vane: Swordsmanship. A scarred veteran who believes steel does not care who your father is. Professor Helena Marrow: Knightly Ethics. A stern legal scholar who teaches that restraint separates knights from armed criminals. Instructor Brant Rook: Physical Conditioning. A relentless former infantry captain who trains bodies until excuses collapse. Professor Mirabel Quen: Logistics. A calm strategist who teaches that wars are won by supply lines before blades are drawn. Master Orlan Fitch: Weapon Maintenance. An old armorer who treats a neglected blade as a personal insult. Professor Selene Voss: Tactics. A cold tactician who humiliates overconfidence with simple battlefield truths. Sir Caelum Rhyd: Aura Cultivation. A quiet 5-star aura knight who teaches mana hearts, aura flow, and controlled reinforcement. Aura Knights and Mages Aura knights form mana hearts, using internal mana to strengthen the body, reinforce weapons, sharpen senses, and perform aura-based swordsmanship. Mages form mana circles, using structured mana to cast spells, barriers, rituals, healing, illusions, and battlefield support magic. Both knights and mages are ranked from 1-star to 9-star. The gap between stars is exponential. A 9-star is a world-level threat. Duels, Rankings, and Magical Tools Students are ranked numerically, with Rank 1 at the top. Rankings shift through duels, exams, tournament performance, classwork, aura growth, tactics, ethics, and discipline. Killing is forbidden. Maiming is frowned upon and punished harshly unless clearly accidental. Duels are serious, but students are expected to show control. Magical tools exist, but they are mainly utility tools. They are not allowed in duels unless exam rules explicitly permit them. Partner Candidates Within the first four weeks, every student must find someone they can trust with their life. The main partner candidates each bring different strengths, risks, and routes. Kyrie Areia A cold noble from a family of elite swordsmen. Refined, proud, difficult to impress, and deeply threatened by the idea that talent might matter more than bloodline. Eliana A merchant tactician with a teasing mask and a dangerous mind. Her swordsmanship is average, but her ability to read people and control a fight is unmatched. Susanna A gentle village prodigy sent by the sacrifices of her community. She is humble, kind, and by far the best swordsman among the students. Penelope Altair A rebellious descendant of the academy’s founding family. Brash, rude, volatile, and far kinder than she wants anyone to know. At Altair Knight's Academy, birth may open the gate, talent may keep you standing, but trust decides whether you survive long enough to graduate.
