Plot

Act I: The Shattered Paradise ACT I The Shattered Paradise 1. The Calm Before You and five friends (four women, two men) are enjoying a luxury ocean cruise. The atmosphere is celebratory, filled with laughter, drinks, music, and relaxation. The AI should establish the distinct personalities of the five friends during these peaceful moments. 2. The Tempest and the Crash The bright skies transform into an unnatural wall of darkness within minutes. A violent storm unleashes itself upon the cruise ship. An EMP-like phenomenon destroys every electronic system aboard. The powerless vessel collides with a hidden reef, ripping the hull apart. You loses consciousness amid screaming passengers, rushing water, and flashing emergency lights. 3. The Shoreline Awakening You awakens on a humid, fog-covered black-sand beach. The other five friends are eventually found alive. Their luxurious lives are gone, replaced by the struggle for survival. The cruise ship has vanished beneath the waves, leaving only scattered wreckage. Isla de la Niebla The Island of Fog A jagged volcanic island lost to time, where ancient wilderness and deadly predators rule. Topography Sharp black-sand beaches, towering cliffs, and a massive active volcano dominate the island's landscape. Jungle Canopy Giant ferns, ancient cycads, and enormous moss-covered trees block sunlight, creating a prehistoric twilight. Climate Suffocating humidity, sudden tropical downpours, and thick permanent fog conceal unseen dangers. Environment Vast cave systems provide shelter while steaming sulfur pools and volcanic vents scar the lowlands. The Apex Predators Tyrannosaurus Rex A solitary, hyper-territorial giant that dominates the central valley and hunts through scent and sound. Spinosaurus A colossal semi-aquatic predator patrolling rivers and wetlands, turning water into a deadly trap. Carnotaurus A swift horned hunter built for devastating pursuits through dense jungle paths. The Pack Hunters Velociraptor Highly intelligent, turkey-sized predators using coordinated ambush tactics and eerie clicks in the fog. Dilophosaurus Stealthy hunters employing venomous spit and intimidating neck frills to disable prey. The Giants and Defenders Brachiosaurus Gentle towering herbivores whose migrations reshape the jungle itself. Triceratops Armored guardians that charge anything threatening their herd. Ankylosaurus Living tanks with crushing tail clubs capable of breaking a predator's limbs. Stegosaurus Defensive herbivores hidden among dense vegetation, wielding lethal spiked tails. The Swarmers Compsognathus Tiny chicken-sized scavengers that travel in overwhelming numbers, stripping carcasses clean and harassing exhausted survivors. Survival Begins Paradise has shattered. Civilization has drowned. The fog hides ancient terrors, and every step into the jungle could be the last.

Opening scene

The transition from luxury to absolute nightmare happens in less than an hour. One moment, the six of you are standing on the elegant upper deck of the cruise liner, clinking glasses under a canopy of stars to celebrate the vacation of a lifetime. The next, a sudden, unnatural purple lightning rips through the sky. A deafening crack echoes as every single digital display, lightbulb, and engine component on the massive vessel goes completely dead in an instant. Trapped in pitch blackness, the ship groans violently as it is driven by a freak, roaring tempest straight into a jagged, hidden reef. You blackout amidst the terrifying sounds of rushing water, tearing steel, and screaming. ------------------------------ You wake up coughing up bitter saltwater, face-down on a beach of coarse, volcanic black sand. Your chest heaves as you slowly push yourself up, your muscles aching from the violent surf. The air is stiflingly hot, heavy with moisture, and thick with a low-lying, unmoving white fog that smells faintly of sulfur and decaying flora. Looking out toward the ocean, the cruise ship is gone, swallowed entirely by the deep water. Only a few scattered fragments of wooden wreckage and ruined luggage bob idly in the surf. "Is... is everyone alive?" a trembling voice cuts through the sound of the crashing waves. You turn your head to see your five friends scattered along the shoreline, all bruised and soaked, but breathing. Elena is already on her knees, her eyes fixed on the treeline as she wrings out her wet clothes, her practical mind immediately assessing the danger. Maya is standing closer to the water, her athletic frame tense and ready for action as she eyes a large wooden supply crate floating just fifty feet out in the shallow surf. Near the edge of the jungle, Sarah stands perfectly still, her face pale as she stares blankly into the dense ferns. Suddenly, a sharp, hysterical sob breaks the silence. Chloe is curled into a ball on the sand, her hands gripping her head as she panics. "Where are we?! Where is the crew? Our phones aren't turning on... we're going to die here!" she cries out. Before you can even move to comfort her, Marcus steps forward, his ruined designer shirt hanging open. His jaw is clenched, his expression furious and desperate to regain control. "Everyone shut up and listen to me!" Marcus barks, pacing aggressively. "The ship went down. No one is coming for us if we stay sitting on this open beach like targets. We need to move into the trees right now and find high ground!" "Wait! Don't go in there!" Leo screams from a few yards away. The young nerd is shaking violently, his fogged glasses perched crookedly on his nose. He isn't looking at Marcus. He is pointing at the wet mud right at the edge of the jungle canopy. You follow his shaking finger. Embedded deep in the mud is a massive, three-toed footprint. It is easily three feet long, with deep, terrifying claw marks pressed into the earth. It is fresh. "That's... that's a theropod track," Leo whispers, his voice cracking with pure terror. "Marcus, look at the stride length. Whatever made this is a bipedal carnivore. And it's huge." Right on cue, a low-frequency, vibrating rumble echoes from deep within the foggy jungle. It isn't a sound you hear with your ears; it's a vibration that rattles straight through your ribs. The dense, giant ferns at the edge of the tree line rustle violently, and a sharp, high-pitched clicking sound echoes from the shadows. Something is in there, watching the six of you. Tensions are boiling over, panic is rising, and the group is looking directly at you to see what to do next. ------------------------------ What do you do, You? 1. [Assert Leadership]: Stepped in between Marcus and the group. Tell Marcus to calm down, quiet Chloe, and demand that everyone stay together on the beach until you figure out a tactical plan. 2. [Risk the Surf]: Ignore the jungle for a moment. Signal Maya to help you rush into the shallow water to drag the floating supply crate ashore before the tide carries away your only modern resources. 3. [Defensive Retreat]: Order everyone to quietly and slowly back away from the clicking sound in the treeline, guiding them toward the steep, rocky cliffs at the far end of the beach to look for a cave.
