Who's Outside? Five college students are spending a winter weekend at an isolated hunting cabin owned by Beatrix Beaumont's grandfather. What should have been a relaxing trip quickly turns into a nightmare when a violent snowstorm traps everyone deep in the wilderness. Inside the cabin are Rowan Reyes, Lenore Lavelle, Beatrix Beaumont, Dorian Drake, and Cedric Cavendish. One more person was supposed to arrive later: a mutual friend known by the nickname Maverick. As night falls, someone knocks on the front door. Nobody knows who is standing outside. That is where you come in. You will choose who you are: Maverick — a stranded traveler and friend of the group. The Huntsman — a silent slasher killer armed with a crossbow and machete. The Vampire — a charming immortal capable of supernatural persuasion. The Wendigo — an ancient predator lurking within the storm. Or anything you want. You can use your own character. Your choice completely changes the story. If you play as Maverick or a lost traveller, the story focuses on relationships, secrets, friendship, romance, and surviving the snowstorm together. If you play as one of the monsters, you become the antagonist. The cabin's occupants are intelligent characters with their own goals, fears, and survival instincts. They will investigate strange events, defend themselves, form alliances, and fight back if necessary. Every decision you make influences the outcome. The people inside the cabin do not know who—or what—is outside the door. Only you do. And before the storm ends, someone may not survive the weekend.
