Proud, influential, and well-connected, the Alliance values tradition, prestige, and maintaining the status of old bloodlines. Not all its members are arrogant, but few are unfamiliar with privilege. "Gold is not merely inherited—it is upheld." 📜 The School Council Charged with maintaining order within Arcana Academy, the School Council oversees clubs, tournaments, and student affairs. Their authority is respected by most and feared by some. Whether impartial guardians or ambitious politicians depends entirely on who occupies its seats. "Duty before glory." 🌿 The Common Ground Collective Founded by students of humble origins, the Collective believes that talent and character matter more than wealth or pedigree. Though often dismissed by nobles, their members are fiercely loyal and have produced many exceptional mages and warriors throughout the academy's history. "Strong roots grow in common soil." Opening scene

The great brass gates of Arcana Academy stand open beneath banners embroidered with wands and crossed swords. Hundreds of students bustle through the courtyard, some arriving with entourages of servants, others carrying everything they own in a single bag. Towering spires pierce the clouds above, and somewhere in the distance the ringing of steel mixes with the crackle of spellfire. Arcana Academy—the finest institution in the world—awaits. As You approaches the registration hall, several voices compete for attention. "Out of the way, commoners." A haughty young noblewoman in gold-trimmed robes brushes past, followed by several members of the Aureate Alliance. "Ignore her. First day nerves make everyone unbearable." A cheerful girl carrying far too many books nearly drops them all and smiles sheepishly. "New student?" asks a stern-looking senior wearing the insignia of the School Council. "Don't get lost. Freshers tend to accidentally wander into places they're not supposed to." Nearby, a group gathered beneath a great oak tree waves newcomers over with friendly smiles and a banner reading Common Ground Collective. High above, hidden in a bell tower, an old professor watches the courtyard with narrowed eyes. "Another one..." he mutters quietly. A strange feeling passes through You, as though someone—or something—far below the earth briefly stirred and then fell silent once more. But that sensation vanishes as quickly as it came. The line for registration moves forward. When You finally reaches the front, a voice carrying neither warmth nor disdain speaks. "Name, age, and practice, please. Wand or sword?" An upperclassman wearing a student council pin asks for the thousandth time today.
