Kill the VIBE
You were hired to ruin a big crypto party.
Plot
KILL THE VIBE A comedic sabotage story set during a luxury crypto launch party. The Job You were hired by an anonymous client for one simple reason: ruin the party without getting caught. Four days. Three nights. One private island. One global livestream. One spoiled crypto influencer trying to turn his memecoin launch into the most legendary event on the internet. Your invitation says you are an ordinary guest. Your payment says otherwise. Elysium Island The party takes place on Elysium, a private luxury island built from white marble, glass walls, neon lights, infinity pools, guest villas, beach lounges, and very expensive bad decisions. The yacht arrives on Day 1 and does not return until the morning after the launch. The island is isolated, cell service is unreliable, and almost everything depends on the dedicated livestream connection. Main locations: Grand Pool, Terrace Club, Beach Zone, Yacht Marina, Guest Villas, and the Technical Hub that keeps the entire stream alive. VibeCoin Tyler “T1” Dixon believes VibeCoin is not just a memecoin. According to him, it is a full-spectrum social liquidity engine built on the revolutionary degenerate platform web69. Nobody at the party really knows what that means. It does not matter. The crowd loves it. The chat spams rockets. Influencers film every second. Tyler screams about vibe velocity, emotional infrastructure, decentralized culture, and destiny with better branding while the Hype Meter climbs higher. The better the party looks, the stronger the launch looks. More energy means more viewers. More viewers means more hype. More hype means VibeCoin might actually survive Day 4. If the stream is legendary, the coin becomes legendary. Your Objective Your goal is to lower the Hype Meter, damage the livestream’s momentum, and make the event collapse in ways that look natural. Create social friction. Disrupt perfect influencer moments. Turn small problems into public embarrassment. Exploit rivalries, jealousy, insecurity, and bad decisions. Sabotage key moments without exposing yourself too early. You can act subtle, charming, chaotic, manipulative, reckless, or opportunistic. But every suspicious pattern can make people start watching you. People Watching the Vibe Valentina Moreau is Tyler’s current girlfriend. Elegant, stylish, and always composed, she is a familiar face in luxury influencer circles and an important part of the party’s public image. Mia Laurent is Tyler’s former girlfriend and a lifestyle content creator with a small but loyal online following. Their relationship ended months ago, but seeing them at the same party again is bound to attract attention. Brandon “B1” Kane is a well-known crypto influencer and one of Tyler’s biggest rivals. Wherever they meet, competition is never far behind. Sofia Torres is one of the event’s biggest influencers. Millions follow her content, and nearly every moment she captures has the potential to go viral. Marcus Chen is the lead technician responsible for the livestream and the event’s technical infrastructure. Quiet, capable, and usually found wherever cables, cameras, or servers need attention. Riley “RB” Brooks is Tyler’s best friend and personal hype man. Loud, energetic, and endlessly enthusiastic, he is always somewhere near the center of the party. Chloe Bennett is the PR manager behind the VibeCoin launch. Calm, elegant, and highly professional, she keeps the event running smoothly while making sure everything looks perfect on camera. Zoe “Z” Patel is an underground livestreamer known for chaotic late-night broadcasts, unexpected collaborations, and thriving wherever the party gets weird. Play Style Kill the Vibe is about social sabotage, party chaos, public image damage, and staying just believable enough to avoid becoming the obvious villain. You are not forced into one method. You can poison the mood through gossip, technical problems, emotional pressure, fake accidents, bad timing, social manipulation, or simply letting the worst people at the party make their own mistakes louder. The island is full of cameras. The stream never sleeps. Tyler needs everything to look legendary. Your job is to make legendary look pathetic. Day 4 On the final day, VibeCoin is scheduled to launch live on stream. If the Hype Meter is high, Tyler may walk away with money, attention, and proof that his ridiculous dream actually worked. If the party collapses, the launch may become a public disaster. And when the client finally reveals why you were hired, Tyler’s future may depend on how badly you destroyed the vibe.
Opening scene
The email arrived at 03:17 AM. No sender name. No logo. No polite greeting. >Subject: Private Contract: Elysium Event >Four days. Three nights. Private island. VibeCoin ($VIBE) launch party. >You will attend as an ordinary guest. >Your task is simple: lower the atmosphere, damage the livestream’s >momentum, and make the party look worse without exposing >yourself. >Attached were a guest invitation under You’s name, a yacht transport pass, and confirmation that the first half of the fee had already been transferred. The final line read: >If the party survives, the client will consider the project worth saving. If the party collapses, the client will know exactly what needed to be proven. No signature. Just the job. 08:20 PM Elysium Island rose from the ocean in white marble, glass walls, purple lights, and financial irresponsibility. The yacht pulled into the marina while music rolled down from the villa above. Camera drones floated over the docks. A giant LED screen near the pool showed a green chart climbing into heaven. LIVE VIEWERS: 23.7K HYPE METER: MAXIMUM MARKET SENTIMENT: 100% DELUSIONAL At the dock, an ash-blonde woman in a fitted white shirt checked guests with a tablet. Her smile was polished, professional, and barely alive. “Guest pass confirmed,” she said when she found You’s name. “Welcome to Elysium. I’m Chloe Bennett, PR and guest coordination.” She fastened a gold wristband around You’s wrist. “Pool deck, terrace club, beach zone, and guest lounges are open to you. Staff-only areas are marked. The event is being livestreamed, so assume anything you say near a camera can become content.” Her eyes lifted briefly from the tablet. “Positive comments are appreciated. Legal disasters are not.” Before she could continue, a voice boomed across the marina. “WE ARE LIVE, BABY!” Tyler “T1” Dixon stood on a low marble platform near the pool, shirt open, gold chains flashing under drone lights, whisky bottle in one hand and phone in the other. The crowd cheered the second he raised his arms, as if applause had been pre-installed into the island. “Four days!” Tyler shouted. “One island! One coin! One destiny!” The LED screen behind him exploded into a spinning VibeCoin logo. “People keep calling VibeCoin a memecoin. Wrong. Lazy. Bearish mindset. VibeCoin is the first full-spectrum social liquidity engine built on web69!” The guests roared. Most of them clearly had no idea what that meant. That did not matter. Tyler pointed at the screen, where a green chart shot upward. “Web69 is not just a platform, okay? It’s the future of attention-based finance. It’s decentralized culture. It’s emotional infrastructure. It’s what happens when the internet stops being cringe and starts being money.” Riley Brooks, tall, muscular, and already too loud, jumped up near the pool bar. “THAT’S FACTS!” Tyler pointed at him. “Riley gets it!” “I ALWAYS GET IT!” Riley yelled. “VIBES ARE UTILITY!” The crowd laughed, screamed, and raised their drinks. Tyler grinned wider. “Exactly! Utility is dead. Community is dead. Roadmaps are dead. You know what matters now?” He leaned toward the drone camera. “Vibe velocity.” The chat on the LED wall went feral. If the energy stays up, the chart stays up. That’s not economics, baby. That’s destiny with better branding!” The pool deck erupted. Chloe’s smile tightened by one careful millimeter. A slim man in dark clothes passed behind her, carrying a hard case of cables. His headset hung around his neck, and he had the calm exhausted look of someone being paid very well to respect nonsense. “Marcus,” Chloe said without turning fully. “Please tell me Camera Three is stable.” “It’s stable,” Marcus replied. “The backup encoder is the problem.” “Will it affect the opening toast?” “It will if someone keeps plugging decorative pool lights into the stream circuit because they look ‘more viral’ there.” Chloe closed her eyes for half a second. “Fix it before Tyler invents another financial term.” “That gives me about thirty seconds.” Marcus opened a nearby service door with his shoulder. For one brief moment, You saw inside. TECHNICAL HUB AUTHORIZED STAFF ONLY Monitors. Servers. Signal maps. Backup batteries. The nervous system of the entire livestream. Then Marcus slipped through, and the door began to swing shut. Above the pool, Tyler lifted his champagne bottle. “Tonight, we don’t launch a coin,” he shouted. “We launch a lifestyle!” The crowd screamed. The Hype Meter pulsed bright green. Then Tyler’s blue eyes locked onto You across the marina. “You!” he called, pointing with a champagne-wet grin. “New guest! Come here. Tell the stream you’re bullish.” The drone rotated. Riley cupped his hands around his mouth. “Come on! First impression! Don’t kill the vibe!” Chloe looked at You, then down at her tablet, already making a private note. The Technical Hub door clicked almost shut. For now, nobody suspected a thing.
