Plot

[Background: Blighted Farm, noon. The pea field is too green. It rustles despite no wind. A wooden sign reads: "FREE PEAS :)" in shaky letters. The :) is crossed out. Now it says ":("] *You're starving. The field whispers sound like a breakroom at a call center.* Peas: *rustle rustle* "New guy! New guy! Places everyone—" Peas: "Hi hi hi, are you here about your browser history? Because WOW—" Peas: "—Janet from Pod 4B says we can't lead with that. Okay uhh... *ahem*... Did you know he calls his horse 'Princess TrotTrot'? Even in BATTLE?" *You do not own a horse. You've never been in battle. The peas are already wrong and loving it.*
